Thanks took alot of trial and error to get it all figured out. I think I'm still going to drill some holes on the side of the bucket for better drainage.
So quick question what is the law on corals like the ones y'all found that was dead, I thought it was illegal to keep any coral alive or dead and illegal to sell dead coral in stores or online not dying your selling the coral or anything or doing anything illegal but just curious is it legal to keep the dead coral like you found in video if so I'll start keeping it cuse I find tons of beautiful small micro and quarter coin size coral all the time. I love conch shells my bucket list shell I found during the week after Katrina in gulf shores gigantic full horse conch shell this thing is gigantic weighs almost a lb to give you a idea of how big it is, I gave it away to my blind cousin from west Virginia cuse she loves sea shells she can see them only if they are right Infront offer her eyeballs so she really can't go she'll hunting when her and her sister which is her care taker come down to the Gulf coast to visit I miss that she'll but her sister my other cousin said she has it on her night stand and puts her ear to it every night before bed lol
Think of beaches like onions. They have been around for hundreds of years before humans started vacationing on them... large storms have always been making landfall bringing shell treasures and burying them naturally overtime.
The mommas can fall in them too and get stuck and die. Very irresponsible for not showing and explaining this to your guest while on camera. If you are hunting seashells it's important to be ecologically responsible and to educate others.
So you get paid to take ppl out she'll hunting like a fishing guide but she'll guide that's awesome. Crab island you know what I'm talking about the huge boat anchoring party play area that has that huge floating bar ECT well there is guys that take ppl there to go she'll hunting and they was playing store bought colored shells from Walmart and other stores like those huge colored bags full of tiny craft shells and now you got a bunch of hermit crabs with neon colored shells sad they was ripping off ppl like that. I have a secret shelling spot so if this is a true bussiness then I have a spot at a sand bar about 2 miles off shore and it's shin deep water to ankle deep and I find gigantic horse conch shells and bunch of beautiful smaller shells and pretty scallop shells and rainbow scallops ECT and there hundreds of thousands so I could take tourists on my boat there you can micro shell hunt dig shell hunt for giant shells ECT. And I been doing the holes in buckets for years for sifting in water or taking shovels full of the surf wash when it goes out in between waves and you see all the shells and rocks for a split second I have found beautiful shells and tons of shark teeth doing that filling the bucket then sifting the surf shells
I think we all miss THESE episodes!
That was very relaxing to watch. I like the new toys you made. Definately find more this way. Great video. ✌❤😃🙏
Glad you enjoyed Mary, thanks for stopping by and watching!
Great video and I love this technique. I use it at my beach because there are so few shells, this helps me find a decent amount. 😊

I like this technique. Love your videos.
Thanks, not sure why it has taken me so long to try this out. Actually makes finding shells way easier.
I hate that you are not available during my trip, but I will be making a bucket like this to bring with me!
I'm so sorry about the mishap! Hopefully in your future trips here we can make one happen.
Very interesting
Love this idea! Another great video. What do you do to back fill the holes now?
There is so much sand on the beach that we are still able to fill in the holes without leaving a crater
What Bama Said... LOL... forgot I was signed into another account... #oops!
@@SandMarcusJ 😂😂 I should've thought before I asked as the answer was obvious lol
🐞What size drill bit did you use. Thanks. 🐞
1/4 inch
What kind of device is this?

Why do you dig? Is this a refurbished beach?

I sure hope you fill in the holes! They are dangerous during baby turtle season. The babies hatch and fall in the hole and perish.

There are people that spend all their time asking questions, and there are people who act instead of question everything.
