The X-Men actors appeared because they were filming Dark Phoenix at the same time in the mansion.

According to James McAvoy they didn't get paid for the cameos and did it for fun since they were already on location and in makeup.
Another cameo is Matt Damon as one of the guys Cable asked what year it was
Brad Pitt appeared because he was working in the area Ryan Reynolds asked him and he got paid one coffee for the cameo
Fun fact: The actress who played Domino is Zazie Beetz and she played Sophie in Joker
also the other redneck was Alan Tudyk from such hits as FIREFLY! 🥰
Brad Pitt was also paid $956, the minimum rate that Screen Actors Guild members get for a day of work to make it all legal...and the coffee had to be hand-delivered by Ryan Reynolds.
They got around paying the others because they were on set and in makeup and was filmed in between takes. They should have had a camera set up inside that room to use the footage in their movie from the other side...maybe they're crowded together in that small room to avoid Deadpool.
Cable is the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey. If memory serves he has a virus that slowly changes his body to metal. Him and Deadpool have multiple comics time traveling together
yeah, the Techno-Organic Virus. Apocalypse was the one who infected him with it.
And the reason why the virus doesn't completely morph Cable's body is because one of Cable's powers, telekinesis, is keeping it under control
The version of Deadpool that Deadpool killed when he went back in time was from a Wolverine movie called X-Men Origins Wolverine I think. Logan aka Wolverine didn't die in that movie. (He dies in the movie Logan) Deadpool killed that version of Deadpool because it wasn't accurate compared to the comics or even the Deadpool movies and was always ridiculed by fans.
The scene where Deadpool cuts bullets with his katanas is a reference to X-Men Origins Wolverine where he first appeared

In the comics, he's taken a run at everyone from Wolverine, to Rogue, to Spider-Man, with even a few notable villains also appearing on his [other] hit list, and of course Lady Death.
She was also being courted by Thanos [this was his comic book motivation for the snap] at the same time.
But she preferred our boy Wade, so Thanos actually cursed Deadpool to be immortal so that he could never be with her.
They hinted at DP being pan in a few different spots in the first movie
--*Ex:* pre-mutation Wade flirting with the stalker kid he threatens in the first flashback; cartoon Deadpool during the credits getting a massive erection and exclaiming "HE'S THE HOTTEST!!" when the name of actor Ed Skrein [Francis/Ajax] is displayed, etc--
but nothing as overt as Wade blatantly sexually propositioning Colossus and attempting to blow him, as depicted here.
I'd suggest getting used to the idea, either way..
Rumours have been swirling for years that DP might have a same-sex relationship [or at least a same-sex kissing or even sex scene] in 3, as Reynolds has stated in promotional interviews that it's important to him to clearly portray that particular aspect of the character.
The fact Marvel Studios has been consistent in messaging that Deadpool will share the R rating of the previous two films keeps the full extent of this possibility alive.

There are one or two soundtrack choices near the end that I liked better in the theatrical cut, but outside of that, I feel the super duper cut is the superior version of the film by every conceivable metric.

The Deadpool from Wolverine is called Weapon 11 (Wolverine was Weapon X “10”) and was also named Wade Wilson and ALSO played by Ryan Reynolds.
The two guys with the truck that Cable steals were Matt Damon and the famous Alan Tudyk (Steve the Pirate and so many voices)

Actaully Juggernaut survives because you can see him climbing out of the pool.
