Balanced as I would expect from a small guitar. It passes my small guitar test. It has some bass. The notes sound round and smooth, a little bit of sparkel and not too tiny. I can hear it breaking up, with mild strumming. It's not a strummer. So stop it. It's a fingerstyle couch guitar. A songwriting guitar.
