omg - i was there at this show! how did i not notice (or remember) the video cameras? phenomenal show - one of my favourite ever. by the way, that bassist is Matthew Sweet before he even recorded his first solo album. the tall guitarist behind him is Peter Blegvad - unbelievable musicians rotating through each song. can't believe what i am seeing!

It's fun to see this live performance of a great song. Syd Straw's vocal is intense, even a bit maniacal--powerful, more so than another live performance I've seen. Who's on lead guitar? The original studio version, of course, benefits from the guitar work of Richard Thompson.
