My Delkims TXi's are definitely over 25 years old!!!!! They are still brilliant never had any problem with them, caught loads and 😮loads of fish but more importantly they have never had a problem in some very very extreme weather!
I've had a txi-d go into the lake was in the water for up to 15 minutes, after getting back I took battery out and left back off on top of the bivvy in the sun for a couple days I put battery back in and works fine not had a problem with since
If my txi's weren't 20 yrs old and still going strong I'd be tempted to upgrade..... Then again i may just retire them (believe me they've earned it) and upgrade to these bad boys just for fun. Vive la Delkim.
I have loved my “old” Delkim Txi for many years. But I have to say that if you don't live in England, it's very difficult to call on the after-sales service, as Korka Europe systematically asks you to go through our fishing tackle store. This can take months and months to repair. Whereas I would simply ask to send them myself to England directly to Delkim. As a result, I'm left with 1 out of the 3 which are malfunctioning. I'm going to wait until the others are identical and then unfortunately I'll have to buy from the competition.... it's sad.
If the customer service is that good then I will be investing, companies with a good customer service are worth their weight in gold. Unlike Angling Direct where their customer service is truly awful.
These are my dream alarms... That I will never gonna afford. Enjoying my Delphin Brithon for now. Ps: what is the chair model that you used in this video? Thank you.
Never had them, bit too pricey in my opinion, but I will say everybody I've come across that has/had them swear they're the best you can get in every way and worth the price tag.
Love to know what the range is like on your x’s the other week I struggled with mine at 50-70yrds. Through some light shrubbery. Lost a rod in the water coz they didn’t go off. Had any issues your self ?
I dont want to press buttons for an action that could be set by a dial. I don't want to pay £550 for an alarm that goes beep when I have a fish on when you can get better alarms for a fraction of the price. And ones that you can programme off your phone sat on your ass in the bivvy. Delkim have gone backwards in my opinion. And why would you want to detect a raindrop FFS ! Get a grip mate. I know you're in a job selling these things but get real.
Agreed. These multifunction buttons are a right pain. And beep every press, okay if your fishing at range and somewhere quiet, but to have anglers left and right of you having to do this going through the settings to change something is madness. Delkim please go back to the 3 dials and a +/-, (delkim conversion mk1 and plus owner, will never get the txi-d v1 or 2 for this reason )
Come on Carpology, grow some and do a negative review for once in your lives. It can’t be a coincidence a certain well known Korda employee who is now “Thinking for himself” now uses Fox alarms

Regardless of what people say, Delkim are king...
My txi plus are 18 years old still going strong quality alarms
Love my delks I still got my original txi alarms
Now we just need colour changing led bobbins to go with them
Got the txi d 1st class alarms
Will defo be looking at these .
The customer service is industry leading no question
I have delkim and I have Saber 4 alarms, considering the difference in cost, they are both brilliant and do the job effortlessly
I’ve worked for Lee personally, not realising who he was. Lovely bloke I had the txi d Untill they were stolen. Great alarms / Family Business.

Same here. They fell off a wooden platform (along with my pod) into 4 feet of water. Bought stage stands after that incident...
Your lucky
There’s plenty of story’s of them packing up in the rain.
Seems to be pot luck

Just to clarity a roller alarm will never be better then an alarms the works off of vibration. FACTS
Had delkims for about 20 years still got a set of original mk1 but fox RX+ alarms are better in my opinion

The day after your wedding day you were in your local tackle shop? I’d be in the missus. 😂
I still use Fox MX plus' and can't fault them. These do look cracking alarms, but for £575 they should be.
The best alarms out there
Only thing delkim needs is a bivvy light that connects to the alarm..bit slacking for top alarm company
The receiver is a bivvy light.
@@fishingsammystyle8682 you obviously know what you talking about I'm so sry...... For you
I have to say I’m surprised most alarm makers don’t make the alarms connectable to your phone. Every other electronic gadget is but not many alarms.

i still have 3 optonics in blue

The receiver looks like something you'd get your prostate checked with.
That'd be an alarming situation...
Alarms need to be 2 things - water tight and go beep when u need them to
Wonder how much the that costs to make vs the retail
Couldnt stop myself from watching this despite my sheer jealousy, got no problem with my mini micron x's though.
I’ve got microns too but thinking of treating myself 🤣
Don't change, they are marketing lead, switched back to fox.
@@lewispatrick.7181 Im going to try and make these microns last as long as possible, could be a while they are bulletproof!
Microns are great!

Brokey! Look you stick to saber and sundridge optonics alarms. Leave to delks to the big boys

No I am not falling for RX+ all day long
Meh,
Delkims are toilet, Fox all the way
No
Definitely never owned Delkims
Roller alarms! You must be kidding right? Not a chance fox alarms will ever be better than Delkim. Nic try tho
Edward’s custom ….. the dogs bollox all the way , simple and cool looking alarms
