This is an awesome post! As a former member of Garfield Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps and the mother of a new Marine (graduated from boot camp on May 20th) .. I appreciate this so much!
Sorry for the inaccuracy. I meant no offense. I was trying to make it search friendly and discoverable for civilians. Thanks for lending some proper detail so my fellow Marines can find it too! ;)
I'm in this! Middle row, left side (low brass) 5th or 6th in, I can't remember exactly. I played 2nd Baritone. Good times. PS, I know you changed the name of the video to make it easier to search, but for the record, we're The Commandant's Own the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps.
rah! thats nice. i just watched a vid where the army was playing the same song. i like the marine corps bands more i think. only i think it could be better if there was in fact a marine corps choir . idk if there is or not. ive never heard of one. lol . -some lance

Awesome!
I am a former member. Thank you so much for posting!
My Mother would play this and other Marine Band song's on the record player (remember those?) as I grew up. My father was a Marine Raider.
Absolutely awesome. One of the best renditions I've ever heard of this song. And by the best marching corps ever. Bar none. Bravo! 👏👏👏

This is the Marines' way..
This is "The Commandant's Own", The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, NOT the USMC marching band. FYI ... :)
I first heard this arrangement in 1996 at Fort Henry (Kingston ON) under the direction of Col. Crawford. Still gives me goosebumps.
