The thumbnail is beautiful I love how bright it is and matches her wardrobe lol. I love Carries fashion because she was so experimental and didn’t limit herself when it came to fashion she was really in loveee with it. I also love Charlotte’s looks too
Yes she was so expressive and fun with her fashion I love it so much. Charlotte also came with the looks as well and her hair was always blown out to perfection.
She dressed for herself and that’s the most stylish thing any of us can do ! Sidenote, I think she dressed for her body type so so well too and embracing her natural curls , beautiful
I love how she kept her hair curly/wavy. She and Julia Roberts really represented for the curly haired white girls, especially during a time when straight hair was seen as better and more fashionable. I love your passion for fashion, and lovely video as always ❤

My fav Carrie dress is the pink silk chiffon dress she wore to meet Big at the Central Park lake. I always cry when she winds up in the waters. Big Thanks for this Great commentary👏🏾

I am a French Parisian born and raised, and if I had to live in NY, I would pick Brooklyn. There is something way more iconic than Manhattan. Carrie's wardrobe has been amazing, but I must say that I have been very charmed by Charlotte's too. Mix of Classic and sexy.
I am still in love with that multicolored suede coat she wore!!! I'm so glad it wasn't just me lol, I've been trying to find one like it for the longest. Carrie, Fran Fine, Hilary Banks, Dionne, Joan and Whitley have the best closets to ever exist lol
That is the perfect way to describe her flamboyant and expressive! I have to go rewatch SATC now lol I may be one of the few who actually likes Carrie character aside from her mess I love how fun and sweet she is
She had such a great figure and still does, she looks good in everything she wears, anytime she wore a dress I loved it and her curly hair is my favorite it's so free. I like when people play and mix colors too it definitely brightens the mood It's the same thing with colors in the home it brightens your mood
Carrie's style is what fashion is all about. so many people have lost that and just want to copy off others and trends like you spoke about with your previous video, it's also one of the things that annoy me about the " this is elegant, this is not elegant" "coaches" because they believe that everyone should look the same and if you wear certain colors, patterns or styles than you're not "elegant" or "classy". I've seen how rude and entitled some of those wome n that come from wealth can be, while the girl who wears sneakers and graphic t's, dresses in goth clothing can be the sweetest girls you'll ever meet but I guess being a sn06 makes them "elegant"
I agree with you 100% Carries style is what fashion is all about and I am taking a page out of her style book for sure. When I do Carrie inspired outfits I get a gazillion compliments mostly from women. I think most of us would love to be more "Carrie" in our everyday and occasion looks
Wasn’t she in debts and unable to even pay emergency bills ? I think that tells us everything about how she could afford those incredible styles : she was working poor and would put all her money in her clothes, with the hope of attracting a wealthy man (the politician, Big, the artsy furniture designer, the ballet director, and so forth)
My all time favorite Carrie fashion are from seasons 2 & 3. By the final season Samantha, Charlotte and even Miranda’s fashion sense had improved. Thanks for mentioning the transformation of the show’s wardrobe budget from season 1 to 2.
This is why I love your channel so much; it always inspires me and my wardrobe in the best way. your videos are so beautifully crafted and teaches people how to find their own style and to be different while also getting inspiration 💖 Carrie's style was always amazing to me she was just carefree in her fashion it's just how fashion should be
I loved how she dressed for her body type and knew what did and didn't work for her. Her fashion in seasons 2,3 and 4 are my absolute favorite because of how she takes even more fashion risks. she doesn't discourage people when it comes to fashion either or talk about how they dress, she just does her own thing. I love that she wasn't a fashion snob 💞 amazing video

Favorite Carrie looks; the couture gown with endless dusty lavender layered ruffles she wore in Paris, the bright aqua blue top paired with a red midi flare skirt and oversized red apple necklace, muted pink wool jacket with matching fringe scarf and miniskirt paired with white gloves with chunky bangles on one hand, and a soft grey newsboy cap, Mickey Mouse tee with off white blazer, green strapless terry cloth summer dress with raspberry t-strap heels, and the white summer slim strapped empire waist dress with matching eyelet parasol
I was obsessed with SATC. When the show went off the air...I bought DVD sets of all the seasons. I love Carrie's character on the show! The writers weren't afraid to show her flaws, failures, and bad choices as the main character. She definitely cared deeply for her friends, and she had a conscience. Oh bless your heart lol. I'm not native English speaker and I'm not familiar with America's social history. Can someone explain to me why "ghetto gold" is considered so offensive?
It’s offensive because she’s referring to the gold that black and Hispanics wear, the nameplate chain she wears in the show was something that was started in the 80s by black people, it was bamboo gold earrings, hoops, chunky gold chains, etc. she referred to the gold as “ghetto” because that’s how she saw the people who were wearing it, looking down on us and yet her and her designer were scouring our neighborhoods looking for things to wear, ( something that came from HER mouth ) but she didn’t have a problem slapping it on her neck and watering it down to appeal to her people. This is more than social history, it’s about how people don’t mind stealing the culture and looks from our communities and then making claims like she did while also wearing our things WE created and trying to Christopher Columbus it, I’m pretty sure you know who he is. A simple google search and some research can help you understand why what she said was demeaning
I don’t think your projection of them disliking Brooklyn was because they thought it was as you said, a slummy neighbourhood. They just loved being Manhattan women. Miranda ends up moving to Brooklyn for her family- and at first she didn’t want to because she just loved being a Manhattan girl. It had nothing to do with them seeing it lesser than.
That’s not really a “hot take” when she said herself that there were some misses lmao when you’re heavy into fashion and take risks that happens the most prominent fashion designers and icons will tell you that lol
