Pro tip, let the stencil dry for a while before beginning the tattoo, if that's your intention. Clearly that wasn't the point in this video but it's a tip that will help any tattoo apprentices and beginners alike. I have began immediately and also let others dry first and allowing them to dry makes them last much longer on the skin if you begin immediately after transferring the first time you have to dap the ink off half of the stencil will go with it and then your flying blind LoL. Also, rub with an alcohol prep pad and then shave the part it's being applied to.

Is it safe to then tattoo over skin that had the deodorant on it? I'm wondering cause I ordered tattoo paper to go with my kit and I wanna make sure I do it right (only doing it on myself)
The part he said was trash and crumpled up wasnt trash. Your drawing is supposed to be sandwiched below and above white see thru paper. Below that a layer of carbon paper and below that your yellow surface protect paper. This vid is wrong and shows they r newbies.
@@juryc9042 that's not true. You can do that but the paper is to protect the transfer paper in shipping. If you sandwich it in between the 2 layers there is a big chance of it moving. Plus the more layers between the carbon and you pen . The thicker your lines come out. It sucks for detail work. There is no real wrong way to do this . But there is more efficient ways for sure.
Get a $200 thermal printer....thats what the paper youre using there is made for. I mean....what youre doing does work....but you could just trace the outline of the pattern with a good black bic pen and the pattern would show up 10x better than the thermal paper. To each their own i guess✌
Tbh i thought of getting a printer (and i probably will eventually) but the transfer paper itself is way less expensive and so its easier to get for everyone
