Some of these ladies went to the doctor, had blood work done and no issues were found with them. It’s the product. These companies are quick to come up with excuses and blame the consumer instead of taking responsibility for a faulty product.
I know, and they gave a very generic, stereotypical response about stress, diet and hormones etc yes these things can trigger hair loss and so can bad products it was a sweep it under the rug comment
My hair fell out!! I thought it was just damaged so i cut it all off and started taking prenatal vitamins. Can barely make a ponytail! Damn you mielle!!
Even if they didn't "change the formula," I'm not counting it out that that one of their SUPPLIERS is cutting corners. Ex, that soybean oil could be coming from Lord knows where with terrible quality now.
This started before the take over!!!! I have all my receipts because all my purchases were straight from the website!!! I have before and after pics!!!! It's the products. Rosemary and the sulfate free line of products made my hair immediately brittle and dried my hair out beyond belief!!!!
Say what you want…..it’s Blue Magic for the win. My edges are full and strong and after menopause I still have all of my hair.❤ Never had a Mielle product in my head💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
They don't want your natural hair to grow and thrive. If your hair falls out, now you will have to buy wigs and weaves. The hair that earns billions of dollars yearly from black women. The healthiest and thick natural hair I see is on black men. I would always say to myself they're not using all these hair products and chemicals. To me their hair looks so healthy, thick , and shiny. Ladies less is more.
Oh' now wait a minute!!! You on to something....black hair (weave) is multi billion dollars a year; keep us in wigs to keep their profits and minimize our strength/glory/crown 🤔🤯 😮 Her products made my hair come out, so now I'm wearing wigs to "grow" my hair/edges again. Dang, we've been played!!!😡
Exactly. That is the entire ploy from the get go. It's scary now when I go into the beauty supply stores and half the store is full of wigs and weaves. SMH
Who, specifically, doesn't want your natural hair to thrive? With all the hundreds, if not thousands, of products, all owned independently, from small/medium size companies, to the larger ones. People that own small businesses that own products a lot of us buy aren't necessarily the same ones who own wigs and weaves. And black men with healthy, thick natural hair usually keep it in protective styles (cornrows, twists, etc.), something that a lot of black women naturals don't always do. And a lot of black men are absolutely using natural hair care products, because they have natural hair. We often become product junkies unfortunately. But honestly, you can make your own hair care products, if you are distrustful. Grab you some water, apple cider vinegar, avocado, pure shea butter, oils, essential oils, and get on UA-cam.
Hi, which one of the products did you use? I see a lot of people talking about the rosemary line but I experience bad results while using the Hawaiian Ginger.

Ok so I had been using these products for about 6 months. To my fright, I happened to run across this video and a few others about a week ago. I used to use Mielle Organics long ago (2014-2016) on and off bc I didn’t want my hair to get too used to the products. My favorite was the Babassu & Mint deep conditioner and it worked well when I didn’t have time to diy my conditioner. But when I heard the company was sold to P&G, I knew the product wouldn’t be the same and left it alone. It’s happened so many times before with small brands
My hair has been falling out so bad all yr. I thought it's bc I turned 40 but it's literally right after I started using mielle rosemary oil. I bought a bunch during their black Friday sale. Smh.
@@cookiecruncher1156 that’s exactly what I had to get the breakage is so ridiculous. My hair was almost 1/2 inches from my butt now it’s at my shoulders and when I say my texture changed. Omg I am thinking to just cut everything off and start over. It’s insane.
I don’t think these people are lying. I had all the products and gave it all away. It actually matted my hair and I had a lot of hair loss. I’ve changed to olaplex and so far no shedding or breakage. I have over 10 bottles of that oil and I’m scared of it now.
My experience with this oil is… When I first used it (before they sold it) acne flairs/bumps around my hairline appeared but that went away fast. Continued to us it but make sure it just touches my hairline and scalp, not my forehead. Worked well! After they sold it, I did feel a dilution or change in the formula but wasn’t sure and continued to use it. Always felt amazing to put on! The way I used it was once a while so yeah, never daily! This happened to me about a year ago. I had thick shoulder length hair. Now I have thin strangely hair. I got it cut in a Bob. Every time I try to support my people. Something goes left. Let me know when the class action lawsuit happens.
I purchased the pomegranate line about two years ago and noticed that my hair became dry and brittle after using it a few times. Clumps of my hair would come out. I immediately connected it to the products. I stopped using the line soon after. I thought it was just me. Didn't realize so many people had the same experience.
I used their shampoo and conditioner and my hair was falling like crazy. Thank God I stoped bc I literally got shocked to see my hair everywhere . A mess
As painful as it is to say. This past year my hair has also been falling out in full strands and a lot. There is a vast difference in my hair. I would swear by MiellealwayALWAYS get questions and asked what I use to get my hair to shine and look like it did. Now, it is thin, limp and my curls are not the same. I just recently stopped using the products and changed. I hope this helps me. I have been a proud Mielle user for years now. It doesn't become my disappointment.
I be using OGX hair products and I swear by them ❤ I love the arguably oil hair spray and the biotin oil works for growing my hair ❤️🩹 and also can’t go wrong with the classic coconut oil
Sourcing real ingredients of essential oils is difficult. Many times they are counterfeit. I can only imagine that sourcing may be the difference here with stronger and cleaner oils and or even dirty oils coming into sourcing. Compare the original vs the new product.
I used the Mielle rosemary mint oil once. Let me tell you, it felt like someone whooped the back of my head into a pulp. I immediately sent that bottle back.
Grow some mint, rosemary, lavender in a pot in your kitchen. Dry it. Crush and steep as a tea. Strain it. Put it in a spray bottle in fridge. Section hair, spray, massage before bedtime.
I have had this happen many times using different products, I was warned by a professional hairdresser not to use certain products and this was one of them. I am now making some of my own hair products like the rosemary oil, what a difference!! It’s very easy to do and benefits are great!!
Omg, ive been wondering why my hair has been falling out and shedding drastically after braids. I used the rosemary mint oil. My hair wasnt falling out before that. Im glad i saw this.
I think there is something sinister happening in the black hair care products because in the more recent years our briad hair has been causing more damage, irritation and headaches than it did 20, 30 years ago. We need to be careful who sell to. Who knows what the factory workers are doing.
I’m suffering the loss right now! Omg I never thought it’d happen to me but literally clumps come out all the time recently and I have lost all density and length. It’s so heartbreaking
First off, why is the 1st damn ingredient, Soybean oil…not Jojoba and these companies do not care about what products they use on Black women. Start making your own products…use Rosemary essential oil, tea tree oil with a carrier oil…make your own products….look it up…everything is online…

Just thrown ALL MY PRODUCTS AWAY LAST NIGHT. I knew it was going to change when she sold the company but I didn’t think it would hurt ppl by taking hair out. I will no longer use the products
To be honest, this happened to me when I started back using Mielle products. The rosemary mint line was literally the only thing that worked for my hair and would encourage growth. I noticed that when I would use the shampoo, I had excessive shedding. I just chucked it up to my stress level since I’m back in school. Then I noticed it each time I would wash my hair. I started back using the Hask brand and my hair has been getting thicker and my curls are popping. It’s disheartening to know that this is indeed happening to others. Mielle is claiming that they didn’t change formulas, but I don’t believe that to be true. The consistency and smell of all the rosemary mint line products are different to me.
Wow this is crazy. I've never used Mielle until recently and used it once, on me, my son and daughter. Now I'm like oh hell no. That's a one and done situation for us! Thanks for the information!

Same!!! I had hair down to my mid chest and now it’s barely at my shoulder after cutting but it looks even. I only have one bald spot. I recently went back to regular shampoo and conditioner and my scalp is soo much better . Plus for me I think the silicons in conditioner give my hair slip and I don’t have as many knots. 😢 I fee your pain though.
Wow. So sorry to hear people are going through this. Listen, yall dont need all these different fancy named natural hair products to take care of your hair. All I use is a good shampoo and most times I use heavily diluted apple cider vinegar in water as a conditioning rinse. I leave it on for no more than 10 minutes. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and make my curls pop. After that I rub in a little jojoba oil or apricot oil mixed with regular moisturizing lotion and mousse. Then I either prep it for a twist out, or give the product time to dissolve (or sit under the dryer until it dissolves a little) and Im good to go.

Honestly i don't know how this video came up but I'm happy it did because I've been having so much hairloss for no reason and my curls been getting straight. I have been trying this Mielle products since it started happening 😢 i didn't even know the company was sold
I only used the mielle rosemary oil and still experienced issues. I think the culprit are the oils in the ingredients. Some essential oils contain irritants that can, over time, cause irritation on the scalp that may lead to hair loss (eg. camphor, carnosol, cineole in rosemary). Oils feed the fungal bacteria that cause dandruff (Malassezia yeast) which can also increase scalp irritation.
I have a rule. If a company I like is sold I move to another one. Almost 100% of the times they are bought, the products are cheaped for profit: worse packages and ingrent sources.

I just used some yesterday and telling my boyfriend "I feel like I'm going bald"😮
Even if they didn't "change the formula," I'm not counting it out that that one of their SUPPLIERS is cutting corners. Ex, that soybean oil could be coming from Lord knows where with terrible quality now.
Omg me too not cool for us

My hair fell out everytime I comb it..I too had meille stretching oil, I threw the oil out. It also burned my scalp
This started before the take over!!!!
I have all my receipts because all my purchases were straight from the website!!! I have before and after pics!!!! It's the products. Rosemary and the sulfate free line of products made my hair immediately brittle and dried my hair out beyond belief!!!!
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THESE PRODUCTS AND DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS. I AM VERY UPSET YET RELIEVED THAT NOW I KNOW WHY I LOST MY HAIR.
I did also. I don't trust any now .Pray what to put in my hair.

I went back to it too! Although I think the current formula is looser than I remember..still an OG though.
Yes blue magic for the win
That's why u can't trust those influencers. They are promoting that stuff. Blue magic for the win like u said. Still use it to this day.
Went back to Blue Magic 3 years ago 🙌🏾
They don't want your natural hair to grow and thrive. If your hair falls out, now you will have to buy wigs and weaves. The hair that earns billions of dollars yearly from black women. The healthiest and thick natural hair I see is on black men. I would always say to myself they're not using all these hair products and chemicals. To me their hair looks so healthy, thick , and shiny. Ladies less is more.
💯💯 Facts!
Men have testosterone
My hair fell off big time too. So depressing with how much I put into it to get it to grow.
Shaderoom this is the only time I will EVER click the link to UA-cam. To watch a Justin Carter TSR investigates report! Lol
Big facts and I’m right here with you 🙋🏽♀️💀
Looks like it's time for a class action lawsuit. This is totally unacceptable. Will never ever buy that shyt again.
Lawyers are the only ones who win in class action lawsuits and P&G is so loaded they wouldn't care if they were sued for $5 billion dollars.

What brands are you using though?
@@krystalmarie5637 Design Essentials is still black-owned. I use their product line, but I don't use a ton of different products. Mainly the shampoo and mousse.
I have 4c hair and sometimes I switch it up from using the vinegar rinse and I use their super moisturizing rosemary mint conditioner. It's a great product line. You just have to pick the right products for your hair type.
I use the "Now" brand oils that I purchase from the health food store and regular Queen Helene lotion or some type of authentic shea butter to help retain softness and moisture.

I came out with this oil and was shocked to see my work was? Guess what look now.
Rosemary oil was burning my scalp. It was very irritating.
Im seriously trying to find a lawyer cuz they ruined ny long natural hair no joke!
