  • Malcolm X, an influential African American leader, was assassinated on February 21, 1965, in Harlem. Born Malcolm Little, he faced racial oppression early in life and joined the Nation of Islam while in prison. He became a prominent preacher advocating for black independence but broke with the Nation after a pilgrimage to Mecca in 1964, promoting racial unity. Facing increasing threats from the Nation of Islam and possibly the U.S. government, he was ultimately killed during a speech. Despite his death, Malcolm X's legacy endures, inspiring movements for social justice and equality worldwide.

They killed the person, not the seed. He who plants a tree knowing that he will never sit under it's shade, discovered the meaning of life.

Baba Malcolm X is one of my favourite Pan Africanists in our history.
Baba Malcolm X was sharo, honest, and caring.
Baba Malcolm X didn't teach violence but self-defence. He didn't teach segregation but independence, and he didn't teach hate but love and consciousness.
Baba Malcolm X inspired our youths, and he spoke to them in Oxford, Havard, Ghana, Nigeria and Tuskegee in Alabama.

Malcolm was a great orator, but he wasn’t greater than his teacher…and yes, he was a legend among Black People as was The Honorable Elijah Muhammad because they stood up to the white man and didn’t take his crap. ELIjah was the first to tell Black people that BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. There are a lot of things about Malcolm that people don’t know…and know, he was not like Paul because Paul never existed. The man whom was shot and jumped in the police car was driven to the airport, bound for Florida to Mohammad Ali's training camp where the camp doctor was waiting. Ali knew everything about the assassination. Bumpy Johnson offered protection but was turned down. Elijah Pool's oldest son returned to Chicago with word to his father that the deed was done.

Malcom X stopped to be the victim of racism resulted from slavery, but then became with opportunity a slave of Islam. As an atheist, I can understand that he used his religion strategy against the White's religion, but I am certain he died without religion attachment, because he was a free man. RIP Mister X.

the all caps is kinda cringe but yes the fbi/authorities knew about the plan to kill him from the other Islam group. since phone tap back in the day was basically free. they had ordered a turn the blind eye when the other group was planning to kill him. they even assist the killer to safety afterward. fbi/authorities are basically killing 2 birds with one stone. a death of a black leader and a fallback of the Islam religion
