Another great thing about using your Blackstone in the winter is it will keep you warm while you are cooking!! It doesn't get as cold here as it does at your house, but I use my Blackstone year around!!!
BUTCH! Thanks, buddy!
Exactly! 👏
This is top-notch work! Keep creating amazing content like this!
Wow! Thank you for the kind words!
Thanks for watching!
I've smoked and BBQ in a snow storm.
Good way to stay warm!
I for one like cooking yr round like you todd.
Happy new yr to you and the family.
Ive always loved the outdoor so yr round griddling is right down my alley.
Ruday!!!!!! Exactly. I'm glad you enjoy cooking outdoors year 'round too! I hope you have a great week. Thanks again for watching!
@praisehisawesomename I hope you do too.
Let us know what you're cooking! 🔥
BTW, love your use of the leaf blower!!!
Woohoooo! Thanks, brother!
I just got my Blackstone this Christmas and love using it in the cold and snow! I have it hard covered, soft covered and on a covered deck and so far so good!
Welcome to #griddlenation!
I use ours year around too. When I'm done cleaning it and preserving it, I put the hard top and soft cover on it. I keep it on my patio under a shelter I built for it and our Pellet Grill.
That's some good griddle care!
Its fun to cook in the snow!
We're happy to hear that!
It is!
I got my first Blackstone from Costco recently it on special for $320 I couldn’t pass that deal up since I’ve been wanting one. Man, all I can say is I love it. It came with cover and I bc already had blackstone cooking utensils. It just perfect.
Welcome to #griddlenation! We're excited to hear what you make!
My son purchased my 1st blackstone for Christmas! I’m debating on joining you this winter.
Nice! The secret in the winter is to have everything prepped and ready to go when you open that door to go out back. Dress warm....and a patio heater helps to, at least, make you feel like it's warmer event though most of the heat is escaping. LOL. Thanks for watching!
Welcome to #griddlenation!
I use my griddle and grills all year around. So l’m glad that l’m in your club 😂. Az. Doesn’t get as cold like Colorado. Have a great weekend Todd and take care.
That's awesome! Thanks for watching 🔥
Love the videos. I pray that you and your family have a blessed and wonderful new year. 2025🎉
Thank you you for the sweet words and for the prayers, Doug!
Happy New Year!
Been cookin outside since I got the 36-inch Blackstone and in the woods with the Camp griddle, nothin better. I stop when it gets below zero with wind, freezing rain or driving snow.
We'd love to hear what you're making!
Hey Todd, Whoo Hoo Lets Go🎉
The cold wind would have had you inside here yesterday🥶!
JO JO IN VT 💞☃️
Jojo! Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for watching!
Todd the Abdominal gridler master. Take care and God bless.⛄☃
@@billthomas7933 interesting twist on the word “abominable”…. I like it! 👍🏻👍🏻 (except that abominable snowman on “Rudolph..” was hairy no??🤪🤣)
Thanks for watching!
We didn’t get it on Black Friday but we did buy our 28 inch adventure ready grill at Walmart.
We hope you love it! 🔥
The cold weather doesn’t stop the griddlebois!!
Love to hear it! 🔥
I got a hard top griddle for Black Friday this year
The best! 🔥
Congrats!
Wintertime is the best time to griddle. 1/2 the time I don't even realize it's cold out you get so locked in..
We're excited to hear what you make!
We got our daughter a pizza oven from Walmart on Black Friday.
Sweet!
She's a lucky girl!
19 degree and cooking not stopping anytime soon
Let us know what you're making!
@@BlackstoneGriddles did hibachi One night in smash burgers in the next night and something tonight not sure what yet
Let’s see what else to cook on the pizza oven!
I have been wondering if it was ok to leave my griddle on the deck with the hard cover and soft cover over it for winter. Thanks for the answers. I didn't want to put it in the garage just in case we got a few warmer days during winter to cook. I haven't yet but I just might join the cold weather griddle club.
Thanks for watching!
I would like to apply for membership in your cold weather griddling club! Link please!! ❄️
It’s snowing tonight (Fri 3 Jan 2025)…a little…enough to cause wet streets to be “black-iced” overnight, unless they treated streets (which trucks I didn’t see)…
Gonna be a bigger storm-purportedly-Sunday night thru Monday…
Been a member already for at least 2 winters; cuz “baked potato night” at church was always the 2nd Friday after new Year’s.. so, whether it was snowing at the time, or did snow, or the crazy crosswinds (without many trees to break wind), always made up two half trays of protein/veggies to go with the spuds…
Will be looking forward to cooking outside after snowblowing neighbors out…
Happy New Year, my brother!!! And to the wife and kids…
Happy New Year! Thanks for watching 🔥
Got a new one for christmas, can I season it when it's cold. Snowing at the moment
You can!
Absolutely! Enjoy!
Can you reseason the top in the winter?
You can season your griddle top before your first use and then as it starts to show wear!
Use it year round and you don't have to worry about storing it.
Exactly 🔥
I griddle year round
We love to hear that!
Todd … just got our first Blackstone at Christmas and of course I am anxious to assemble and season it. I’ve got a cover with it as it was purchased at Costco but my patio doesn’t have a roof over it and it will not be practical to use it and then carry it around the house to the garage. Will my griddle be okay after seasoning and just the Blackstone cover and the hinged hood protecting the griddle surface here in northern Utah?
I forgot to say I was also going to buy a large, heavy plastic sheet from HD or Lowe’s and put that over the grill and then add the Blackstone cover that came with it.
If you follow his tips your griddle should be set for the season!
the other day, black stone wouldn’t light, propane was too cold, just below 30. Might want to point that out.
Thanks for the tip!
What kind of heater do you use?
He has a Mr. Heater in this video!
I have several Mr. Heater models. The one you see here is a basic tank top version.
Awesome tips Todd! Happy 2025🎉! Excellent video, hope you and your family have a fantastic weekend! Cheers😎
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a great 2025 as well. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
So, Todd, what kind of cold winter club is this? Anything big? Maybe a new channel 🤷♂️ I’ll send you something, we’re in the middle of a winter storm right now. 6 degrees and falling!! Burr
Nothing big. Just a figure of speech and good time. Lol. Thanks for watching!
Stay warm! 🔥
👍🏻
🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Lemme guess you’re in the Deep South😑😜
Never seen a soft cover, make it through a winter outside with the wind😂
Thank YOU for watching! Mine always last but you have to be careful. If it's windy, I always nudge mine up against a wall or against my prep cart. You don't want to give that nasty windy a fighting start. LOL. Thanks again for watching. Have a great week!
Who needs to winterize a griddle when it’s used all year round?!?!
Right?!
