Neil, to answer both your questions: yes he uses a tip weight, but sands down approx 1/16" of the tip of the shaft to compensate for any added length the tip weight might add. 2, yes if a club dries funny on a drying rack it can effect the lie of the golf club. Hope this helps.
Hi..I assembled Mizuno mp60 (6 iron 257 grams) to + 0.5 inch dynamic good s300 shafts. For some reason, pitching wedge swing weight is e1. And 5 iron at d7.5. I don't understand why that's is the case with 4 wraps of grip tape . There's seemingly no hot melt in the heads before installation
Can any true temper shaft be used to create a set of same length irons or if you cut them too short will it change the flex points? I have a set of dynamic gold s300's on cobra pro mb's I've been thinking of cutting them down to same length.
so, in conclusion.....he works on the pro tour fitting clubs, and you don't, but he's doing it wrong, according to you ..........okay Karen...lol.........
In our many years of testing and research and building of clubs, we have not found any advantage to spining or pure-ing shafts. It certainly does not hurt to do it, but it is not necessary. It is only a personal preference for some players (and it's not many golfers on Tour who actually ask for it).
FLO definitely allows the head to square more consistently during the kick unload. Surprised 😳 it wasn't mentioned. Yes it requires more time and effort but IMO def worth it
Okay I get how to put it together. I still can't find a video where they show how they make the head and the shaft. Where does it come from did he just pull it out of his ass and say let's make a golf flub
wow . You never bother to weight the head , never check where is the sweet spot on the face of the head , you should know that there is the way to august that . it could be hosel heavy of light . grade club making ! lucky pro
I was VERY disappointed with the explanation. First, the shaft should have been disclosed as a taper tip as it didn’t need to be trimmed. The tip should be sanded half way up the ferrule. Second, using a balance beam for swing weight is at best an approximation. I use a digital scale for accurate results. Third, the shaft should have been spine aligned. After swing weighting you should only need .2 SW for epoxy. If you are using .5 SW worth of epoxy you are using way too much. Lastly you should allow at least 10 minutes of drying time before finishing the ferrule as it can spin if the epoxy has not set.

Meanwhile this guy is working on a tour truck and you’re sitting behind your computer telling the internet he’s doing something wrong. Clearly you’re the one who did something wrong then😂
Did you put some weight into the hosel? Doesnt that change the center of gravity of the head?
What a fantastic way to earn a living! 👍
My dream job.

Lol the nerd is in the building jk
What grit sandpaper do you use?
Can you explain how a resting club on a drying rack can change the lie? what forces are involved that can change the angle of steel?

so there's no certain way the shaft goes in ? don't have to line it up with the head ? leave the grips for that
Is there any difference in performance or ball flight whether you add weight as an insert in the hosel or behind/around the cg behind the face?
haha he didn't answer you. Loser

Don’t be a DeShankbo.
what about he spining tour players use or don't tour trucks do this ?
so, if a mistake was made with the epoxy on the iron to the shaft and it needs to be redone, is there a way to dissolve the epoxy or is the club shot?
i think you can use heat to break the bond and get the club head off
@@SayYesVital thank you
I think its better to dry swingweigh then glue then install the grip personally
Frank 77 then the grip will throw the swing weight off.
@@claytonjohnston25 Grip can be placed loose on swing weight machine.
So it appeared you didn't worry about the spine location and flow?
Myths.

Not checking for the shaft spine or FLO?

Do you SST Pure your iron shafts?
Looks proffesional
Well done!
His last statement is he is going to the range to test the club. Don't you have to let the grip set-up for at least a couple hors before you use it?
Steve Scholtz A grip installed with odorless sets up in about 30 minutes. More or less ditto the epoxy he's using.
Steve Scholtz 30 minutes to an hour at most.
He adds weight presumably with a tip weight, but that adds length?
Neil Cameron he also ground down the tip a small bit as well.
he claims that lie can be changed by sitting the club on the floor?
I stood my 3 iron on the floor crooked while it was drying and I ended up with a pitching wedge.
Because the shaft is not perfectly flush with the hosel so it can be off by a few degrees

can't seem to find your howto (do it right) videos anywhere.
I think he said he added weight at 4.38
10 points for glue
I’m sorry a full swingweight
Someone with that delicate touch, obviously hasn't thrown hay bales growing up...
You missed the most important step but hey you just work in a tour van no biggy 🤣🤣🤣
lol at all the "experts' that DONT work on tour telling him he's doing it wrong....thanks for the laughs

you asembly you are not a clubmaker big difference
So, they don't line up with spine line or FLO line?
