Using an electronic slider, which by the way these days are extremely cheap comparing with the past, and the timelapse will have a more unique perspective. Great video Sidney as always keep it real homie!!
Great little tutorial with fast hints and shortcuts... so much of timelapse is previsualization and knowing what settings will give you predictable results...
It was five years since I last made a time lapse video, so your video helped me see the benefits of using both Lightroom and Premiere.🤩 What made me really confused is that I downloaded "Lightroom" and I had no idea there was two versions of Lightroom, and there is a great difference between "Lightroom" and "Lightroom Classic", so it was really frustrating to hassle around with the wrong software (thinking it was a newer update) before realising it wasn't right at all. Uploaded my time-lapse video yesterday! Thanks for your help and for sharing rad tips in such short amount of time, great work!🎬✨
Learn by doing. It’s the best advice that applies to everything in every field. And way to go keeping to a short, helpful video people can learn from. 👍
Amazing video thanks for not filling it up with crap to make the video longer like seriously other tutorials are like 20+ minutes with crappy stories and useless talks to extend the timer.
These tutorials are so helpful! I just uploaded my first ever timelapse video (about the city of Bern in Switzerland) and without the help from these tutorials i could not have done it. Thanks!
But it is 3 mins 49 secs - Perfect just what tutorials should be quick easy to follow and that good old Sidney humour sweet juicy nectarines - off to start time lapsing !
Thanks but for Final Cut Pro users, what is the next step after applying the settings to every picture ? How do you export it from Lightroom, and how do you import it in Final Cut ?
Hi Sidney... Could I ask 1 question? I shot with Sony 6400... I use interval 1 second, 250 pictures. Why when I import my file to Adobe Premier, the total length (time) is only 8 seconds? According to the Sony Camera (when I set the interval setting)... I will be around 2 minutes clip. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you 🙏
Cool video. I plan to do a time lapse on my own markets and my business to get an idea of how many customers I do in a day. I really appreciate your videos. I'm teaching myself how to do my own video editing. So. I subscribed and I liked your video. Danny. (Schmidty's Kettle Corn).
@@SidneyDiongzon you always provide such awesome content! I have learned so much already. Can't wait to try this. I used to just use S&Q at 1fps for my timelapses.
I'm taking photos for timelapsing right now. I suppose the battry should allow me to make it 1 hour photography with 10 sec between a shot to the next. Question : where can I download PR for post-processing?
My issues come with timelapse as a beginner, with exposure...if I'm doing night timelapse, its a no brianer...set the exposure and your good.. but I do a TON of morning sunrise and sunset to nightfall, and manual exposure setting can and does end up with very underexposed when nightfall comes, or very over exposed when the sun comes up. Auto exposure just always comes out very "sudden" in the changes.... Sometimes the effects are pleasing with sudden strong early sunlight, often not, and sunset to night can be a great ending shot as the screen goes dark as the sun dissappears.. but if you want the exposure to render the night scene, its not an easy thing to get right... I have dozens and dozens of timelapse clips....all are experiments. I've had a few that were ok, but most have some kind of exposure issue thats just not pleasing..... or maybe just not what I wanted...Timelapse is by far what I do most at the moment.... Anyway, great vid...very well done. OH.. by the way, have you done a vid on exposure stacking? I'm interested in trying exposure stacking, get the principle, but in post is where I get lost....Thanks!
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE TIMELAPSE TIPS???
Taking a photo at the settings prior to starting the timelapse to see a preview of what your timelapse could look like.
Using an electronic slider, which by the way these days are extremely cheap comparing with the past, and the timelapse will have a more unique perspective. Great video Sidney as always keep it real homie!!
Thanks homie!!!
I use a phone so, i generally go with the old school tripod and slow shutter clicks!
Great tip!
Oh yeah! Sidney is back with another amazing and short tutorial! Thanks!
Thanks so much!!!!!
Simple, yet mentioning everything you need to start, while easy to understand. Perfect intro for beginners. Thank you! 🙂
I learned more in your 2 minute video than I did in other 20+ minute videos.. 🤦♂️
Woooooo! I’m so glad!!!
I already knew how to do this, but I wanted to see how you fit all that info into 2 mins...I'm impressed haha, great job Sidney
I was going to comment the same exact thing haha
The Post Color Blog haha great mins think alike 🙌🏻
This is really useful. I've been trying to do timelapse with Imaging Edge, but was getting confused. This is so much simpler.
YES!! I’ve found this way to be the easiest (also because I’m lazy LOL). Thanks for watching!!

Awesome job Sidney. Used my a6400 and did a timelapse tonight. Nothing fancy but just wanted to practice what you taught. Thank you so much.

Woooo!!! Share your timelapse when your done!
from day to night (sunset) is it better to shoot in aperture priority and let the camera choose the shutter speed ?
I'd probably say so! I've yet to test that out!
@@SidneyDiongzon thanks man !!!
Awesome stuff. How did you get the starburst in the street lights? A brush? Lightroom or Photoshop? Thanks in advance.

Patience means alot of patience
HAHA! Yep. Patience is soooo key!
Great tutorial video. I have a question is the motion blur due to the nd filter or low shutter speed?.

Is there a difference using pictures vs video for a timelapse? I've only done them with video
Wondering aswell
You get waaaaay more resolution with photography. Also, you get to control the motion blur with photography
@@SidneyDiongzon I'm going to try it out. Thanks

I would imagine twice a day? Not sure how fast mushrooms grow
