- Quick first-impressions tour of one of the safari tents at the Bracelands Campsite in the Forest of Dean.
The tent is well equipped but no bedding is provided, so you must take your own - does get chilly at night, so take plenty!

Superb looking weekend retreat Gary.
It was pretty good - flapped about a bit in the wind, but the sound of rain on it was lovely. Bedrooms have a dark lining so block the light out completely. Cheers.
Looks nice bud, especially the blackout on the bedroom pods...a big plus there!! Having holidayed in North Wales in the middle of June for the first time this year, it was barely dusk at 23:00, so that's a great idea!!
Blackout lining in the bedrooms was great and slept better there than I do at home!

I like to keep it light fast n mobile
I do have small military pup tent
N a bigger one but 99.9 it the McCoy for me
I make my own it easy
3 day pack n beard bag n whut my belt n I stad in woods over a month
My parents had a moter home n I hate it
Wife in tow so had to go for a bit of luxury 😉
I do fancy a simple tipi/teepee type tent with a stove for the Winter - I reckon that'd be great. Cheers.
