I always appreciate how the first game in one of your videos is usually one where the deck does its thing despite the opponent having a lot of counterplay. Showcasing it not necessarily at its most explosive pop-off, but its most competitive.
Oh perfect! Just tried to master Lotusfield as my first BO3 deck a few weeks ago but couldn't quite wrap my head around the complex tactics and combos, happy to see you dropping a video on that deck, thanks a lot! And as always, I see explorer (or pretty much any LVD video), I press like :D
As someone who actively follows Bryant Cook who is one of the main designers behind Lotus Field as a deck nowadays, Artist's Talent has just made this deck SO much more consistent and explosive.
Videos like this make me appreciate how direct omniscience wins can be. Even in standard. Get your omni cheated in, get your invasion of arcavios (dig for it with atraxa/etc). Then arcavios gets beseech, gets 2nd arcavios, gets this town ain't big enough. Recur both. Arcavios, beseech, overlord, arcavios, town, arcavios, herd migration, arcavios, heroic reinforcements, attack, game over. Deterministic win and can just take like 20 seconds if you're really really fast
God, Lotus Field combo decks are so... confusing, from a lore perspective. Like, imagine planeswalkers meeting in the afterlife and asking each other how they died. Guy 1: "I got ran over by a horde of goblins and while I was trying to fend them off, the opponent hit me with a lightning bolt in the nuts." Guy 2: "You think that's rough? My opponent summoned Emrakul. Reality tore itself apart like paper. My summons couldn't even figure whose side they were fighting on anymore. What about you?" Guy 3: "It's... uh... complicated. He spent 10 minutes drawing his entire spell book, then he threw a fish at me and next thing I knew I was up here."
Please help me to understand why people are using Sleight of Hand instead of Opt. "Seeing one card deeper" simply can't compete with instant vs sorcery, fill graveyard, get rid of the card you don't want vs putting it back in the deck, and Opt still gets 2 cards deep.
Instant mostly doesn't matter because you usually are casting it at sorcery speed on your turn in this combo deck context. Opt doesn't get rid of the unwanted card, it goes to the bottom, so they fill the graveyard exactly the same amount - as opposed to Consider, which the deck does run for this reason.
This video is 48:08 of reasons for me to never ever spend a single wildcard to play Explorer a single time in my life. I can play solitaire for free lol
Two in one day? Woo!
Two LVD videos in a day feels like another Christmas
For real
12:13 LVD doesn't say anything, but you can hear in that loud silence how confusing was that Consider coming out of the deck at Mach 2.
Fr why did it make that noise?

2 videos in one day provides a lot of value

Hooray! I just finished watching the other one lol
My goat 🐐
Two LVD videos? There IS a god!! :)
So surprised how consistent this goes
There is nothing as satisfying as playing "Unmoored Ego" against this deck saying "Wish".
If you are running Lier you should also have Fey of Wishes as Lier can cast the adventures from the Graveyard as well.
Always happy to see izzet on the field
If I had a genie I think I’d just take him to work with me, not even use the wishes just hang out and get to know him
Pleaseee keep uploading two a day i love this 😁😁😁

I'm a simple man.

This list is genie-ous
Two videos in one day. 😱 we’re so blessed.

Magic, the Solitaire
I see pioneer brew, i click
This video is 48:08 of reasons for me to never ever spend a single wildcard to play Explorer a single time in my life. I can play solitaire for free lol
Love the video, although my opinion is lotus field should be banned in pioneer because it feels like eggs to me
Explorer? Why??
You should make more timeless decks
Double Weejio?!?
A deck with boredom as a win condition
