  • There aren't a ton of videos on the Asics Japan Pros so I figured that I'd give my thoughts after the first session. Let me know what you think of the shoe! #skateboarding #curbskating #asics #asicsskateboarding #japanpro

So true- if you feel good about what your wearing (especially looking down on it) it definitely enhances your skate experience.

NB 480 and 440 have been my favs for the last couple of years but I have to say I think these might be better, no break in time, super light weight, great shape and have lasted me a month so far with just a little super glue along the stitching.

@@LBJ-85 that’s great to hear because I absolutely love the 440 v2!! I like the way that the 480 looks and grips but the sole is a bit too thick for me. I need a tad more boardfeel than that.

I skated these same ones a couple weeks ago on a mini ramp, but got a good flatground/ledge/rail session in on them today. I agree. I think these are a fabulous shoe and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are definitely TTS and I would recommend dabbing super glue on the stitches from the get go.

@@driftlessskater5475 rad bro!! Yeah as long as I put a tad bit of super glue in the stitches I think they will last a good while!

I haven’t tried them recently, so I haven’t tried any of their skate shoes, but my experience has always been that they make good quality, comfortable, and stylish stuff. I really kinda liked the look of the black/tan flexkee 2.0, but haven’t tried them

@@diplenski the flexkee looks a little wild but I think it will skate really really well!! I wanna try some!! The materials on these japans are definitely high quality

@@eastcoastcurbkiller the 2.0 was a big improvement looks-wise, but i didn't really mind the original ones either. the 2.0 remind me of adidas superstars in a way

Do you feel like this is a wide foot friendly shoe? Or is it more of a normal to narrow fit?
