- Edison Chen is the co-founder of Clot, a streetwear brand that’s spent 20 years tying together the East and the West. Clot is best known in sneakers for its high-profile Nike collaborations, but that’s about to change. Last year, Chen and Clot started a new partnership with Adidas that promises to expand their sneaker empire by allowing Clot more resources and freedom to create. In this episode, Chen talks about leaving Nike, signing with Adidas, and the bygone era of lining up for sneakers. This might be my episode of the year, hearing how Chen explains what he wants to do with the stripes as well as what he wants to do to leave a legacy behind, is really inspiring, i seriously couldnt stop listening so closely to him. Also props to Welty for not underselling, respect to standing on his opinion to the end! Thank you team and keep up the good work.

It was amazing hearing from him hearing about his journey from past, present, & the future.I am also looking forward to his upcoming Clot Gazelle. I also hope it puts the Gazelle back on the map. I remember the Gazelle being on everything like the Samba now is. Again, great post & I'm looking forward to Chen's & Adidas' new union!

EDISON is DOPE. Met him in 上海 before the doors opened at YOHOOD event. He was working on his SNOOPY installation. He Playa fr 💯
Discovered Edison from the HK film Gen Y Cops from all the way back in 2000. More than two decades ago, and he basically still looks the same, and he was already super cool! That movie also had a very young Paul Rudd and Maggie Q, who both also seem very youthful

i think the d book is a beautiful shoe in person and most normal people wouldnt even know its a basketball shoe which is a cool design choice by nike. i like the mirage and blue color ways need to try a pair on
Nike has the ISPA line that is innovative and several other things that they are doing but right now the Dad shoe vibe is taking over! So Vomero 5's P-6000, etc are the kicks holding it down for the brand at the moment.
