It's good to see someone with your viewer base covering this subject, Alec. Young people, in particular, tend to think of themselves as immortal. Yet, an astoundingly high percentage of workplace injuries occur to young workers. Awareness is critical. Keep up the good work.

Alec, if all your efforts just help to save one life, it was already worth it. Keep it up buddy.

I see what you did there, the last 4 minutes is for us to ponder and reflect upon our own personal safety. Keep up the great work.

I am a huge proponent of safety and ATGATT (all the gear, all the time...) and love that you actually use the safety gear!

Great kit! Definitely add a $1 Space Blanket though. Trauma patients die when cold.

I’d definitely recommend aspirin also, just in case someone is having a heart attack.
Also great video and a great looking product.

    Heya Alec,
Just seeing the superglue you've got in your trauma pack some super glue has a base in cyanoacrylate and you need to make sure you have one that isn't toxic to humans, such as medical superglue, just wanted to make you aware if you didn't know.
Stay safe in the workshop buddy. Godspeed and good luck.

While you're correct about flying with trauma sheers, good luck convincing an airport security worker that. They LOVE IT when they flag something and you start off with "Well, technically..."

Or you could snag the top carry handle on anything available and use the one good arm you do have to open it. Using the items on the other hand would still be a problem.

So I went online and priced everything that I found on this kit and you can actually put it together for under 100 bucks shipped. I love the fact that Alex still brings the stuff to the table but the overpriced medical in the United States is ridiculous. And here’s the best part everything in my kit has multiples of except for the shears, whistle, tourniquet, and bag.
I love the show but I have to wonder why people attempt to take advantage of other individuals especially when it’s medical and they’re attempting to help them. I have my own medical kits in various places and yes we all should have one or more. But. 170 and they don’t have refill parts. Ehhhh. I know they don’t get used much or we hope so. But this kit should be way cheeper than the price you have it listed as. Once again I’m not trying to insult anyone. I just think that things are expensive and that they don’t get a lot of use and if you can get something that does the same thing for a more cost-effective price. And I do mean cost-effective not cheep/junk. Than you should by all means go with it. I think that $120 + tax if applicable and shipped would be a awesome price to see this at. Mymedic.com is where I have got all of my kits from. You could buy a kit from them starting at $120 and it will include airway, bleeding, burn, hydration, medication outdoor, specialty, strain, fracture, topical, and specs. That’s a whole lot of stuff for $120.

I'm going play the devil's advocate, he might not be making the greatest business choice in using a kit from the UK. We dont have the great choice of products and no national stop the bleed campaign, more limited market etc. So we pay more for the same products in the UK than compared to the US.
In doing so he is importing kits that are more expensive and still needs to make a profit cause it's a business. Which leads to a product that seems like an attempt to RIP people off but is actually priced on the way its was sourced, which is not by the most cost effective way (working with a us company)

Nathan Gilmore I thought about where he could source it from and other things before I made the review. I have thought about a lot of places where people get things from and the types of kickbacks of people get. I’ve also come to understand that UA-cam is a selectable TV with advertisements and product sales. I think that if I were to try and source something I would try and make it as cost-effective as functional as I could make it for my viewers. And the main reason is is because he gets paid from UA-cam and his swag and the stuff he makes and the new product line he sells. If you’re trying to branch into a bunch of things that’s fine but this medical kit I would’ve found a way to make it extremely cost-effective. Just to help people.
      Well I would have anyway.

"This product only ships to USA destinations!"
    Why? Seriously, WHY?
You have no problem shipping 140 pound anvils around the globe.
You have no problem shipping ankle medical kits around the globe.
You even said, that you can get this very kit through TSA "just fine".
So why? Why exclude the whole rest of the world? I wish to survive accidents too, you know...

How is it a self help kit? Who is going to do CPR on you? Yourself? They should change the title. Also, what's much more important than the kit itself is the training and know how to. Practice, practice and even more practice.
