    Thanks!
Spoiler alert.. not really. But there is something wrong with it and it probably comes from jumping it from the steps, which was fun, but I don't recommend it.

Possibly it is in the ESC .... i have issues like that sometimes with my crawlers. And swap out the ESC and issue goes away . But i have not had issues yet with my promoto mx .

Yeah. Could be. I'll get to the bottom of it.

My recent video I hit a curb while braking and the flywheel got really loud. Possibly flywheel bearings shot? I took my flywheel apart and seen nothing visibly wrong. Steering servo randomly does that shiver thing since it was new. I contacted horizon gave them the link to the video to see what they say.

Thanks for the info! Would be nice to know if it is the flywheel. Mine only shivers/stutters the servo when running full speed. If figure if the bearing is the issue, maybe it’s drawing more power than it should leaving the servo short on power, maybe???

Absolutely the most fun ive had with RC since i was a kid. I love this bike. I already upgraded key components to aluminum and it made a world of difference in durability and handling.

Nice. Been meaning to do a few upgrades. What did you change?

@Triggered-RC crash structure, swingarm, suspension knuckles, triple clamps and brake caliper. Honestly the slightly heavier components added just the right amount of low down weight. I also put thicker fluid in the shocks. It glides over whoops with grace now!

@Triggered-RC forgot to mention, if you pull your gyro weight(flywheel) and replace with ceramic sealed bearings it is ALOT quieter and smoother sounding.

Duck you too 😁 Have you found the issue? I guess the gyro is in the receiver? Maybe the receiver is lose? Or the gyro needs to be tuned down.

I’ve been running it with the gyro turned all the way down… That stutter started after the last jump and only occurs when the flywheel has spooled up to full speed. That’s why I thought it was the flywheel knocked off centre that caused it. But I noticed on the bench that it was actually the servo stuttering, which leads me to think it is a power issue or I semi-killed the servo somehow. Feel like I really need to take it apart, but I got that seized bolt standing in the way. Might have to get out the drill and try get it apart. Just don’t want to strip the head off of it. Or, it could be the battery is run down… but that just seems odd to have happened suddenly after that jump. Will charge it back up and see before I do anything else.

@@Triggered-RC ah yes could be the servo, seen that before where a servo would jitter near the center.

    • @soma_rc

I wonder if that could be induced by the flywheel being out of balance vibrations

@@soma_rc Yeah, my first thought, thus the attempted tear down. Will probably do it anyway. In the video you can hear it making awful noises when I angle the bike left and right.

It takes some getting used to. The major issue I face with bikes, this is my 3rd, is space. Turning radius is quite large compared to an RC car and you have to keep momentum or it falls over. Some UA-camr took these bikes to 1/8th car tracks. They had a very hard time.
