    Thanks!
    Trying to get to the bottom of my noisy flywheel and stuttery/jittery servo, and I couldn't find the problem. Still, dissembling the bike and putting it back together, seems to have resolved the issue. Plus we take a look at the ESC programming at the 8:00 minute mark, so be sure to check that out!

    Very helpful video as I’m going through the same thing. I got the new armature, I guess I’ll go ahead and get bearings as well lol

    UPDATE…I just wanted to share I went through this same exact issue and was somewhat lost as well since everything looked to be in good shape.
    The issue was the armature, Losi part #SPMXMXA1
    Bearings are fine on mine. After armature replacement the thing runs as if brand new. What did it to mine in the first place was running it in wet dirt, then I tried to LIGHTLY hose it down very carefully. Well I guess water got into the flywheel case and caused something to go wrong with the motor.
    Will not be running in anything but dry conditions from here on out lol.

    I stripped both ends of that stupid pin/screw that holds the lower part of the crash structure in place, had to use the dremel and some vice grips to get it off. Whatever loctite they used for that screw is no joke!

      Yeah. It seems it was not made to come apart. Luckily I didn’t strip mine.

    The bearings are junk they can't handle all force of it spinning I put ceramic rubber sealed bearings in mine cause it got loud and this fixed it problem solved 😊😊

    Could it be that the flywheel 'rubs' against its housing on the opposite side from the motor?
    It seems (from other video's i've seen) that it 'hangs' with some shims in between on the motor axle.
    if it -during crashes- shifts on the axle it would be able to 'rub' against the housing.

      @Triggered-RC  5 місяців тому +1

      Could be, but I didn’t see any evidence of that. Have learned that upgrading to ceramic bearings fixes the issue. I think it is just the bearing. Wears too fast. Super high rpm with a weight on the end of the axle. Probably incredibly stressful. Add a couple hard knocks in there, and any slight deformation of any of the balls is gonna make some vibrations.

      Searched for awhile… Nothing to be found. Will take it apart again and figure out where that screw goes though. Ended up in this situation when I tore down my PS4 too. One extra screw. However, I didn’t bother figuring out where it went. 😂

    • @Triggered-RC
      @Triggered-RC  9 місяців тому

      Mine did seem to get louder, but it’s quieted down now. I hear replacing the bearings in the gyroscope can make them much quieter and smoother. Haven’t gotten around to doing that yet.

      @@Triggered-RC they have two versions. The v2 looks exactly the same but on the bottom right hand corner it says V2. If that is not a V2 be sure to look at the manual to see what order the settings are in bc the version 1 could be off. So for example you think your changing brake strength but you could be changing motor rotation instead.
