I soooooo love this man. My husband and I played just about all of Jackson's music. Our favorite is After the Deluge. Among several others. Bobby has passed away 8 years ago and I miss playing Jackson Browne songs. I can't get thru one now without crying. We were married 33 years. Its such a profound loss in many ways. Eagles Bob Seger can't get thru any of those songs either. We had the best harmonies. Havent found anyone that could even come close to the harmony we played together. Got a new guitar, amp, boom stand and Mic. Last Christmas. Bought it for myself. I've played 3 times all year. Just cannot get over the pain in my heart. Thank you Jackson. I love everything about you. Living off the grid would be our philosophy as well. May God bless and keep you safe.🎵💓🌹
When you said we had the best harmonies havent found anyone that could even come close that was poetry.
I'm a youth writer and he's the one who inspires me. I turn his music whenever I write.
this man is a genius , his music is timeless .
He explains it so beautifully.
how can you not love this guy and his music
What a lovely man.
That was a joy.. I have never met him, he has no idea who I am, but this film tells me he is a genuine guy, a decent man and.. a nice man. Everything else is a side issue.
Lovely film. Thanks for this.

Honestly the most remarkable American song writer, period.
A wonderful talent with a beautiful heart. Thanks so much for sharing Jackson ‘s insights...an amazing man.🌹
You are so intreasting to listen to! Awesome! I love you Jackson Browne!
Jackson, the musical genius, explaining his craft. I have been a fan since the 1970's, and always will be.
He is such a joy to watch and listen to. My all time favorite artist.
One of America's greatest story tellers, and tapestry weaver as well; very unique, and such a beautiful gift that he shares with us.
What about that lovely kind, warm laugh at 3:12❤️,what a lovely human "the pretender"is,got to meet him twice and as I said lovely, kind, warm.
It has always been so effortless to be an admirer of Jackson Browne's work as a creative writer of songs and the poetry within them. Here, his insight to the intimate thinking within the process is very relatable to anyone who writes, allowing the writing to go where it goes rather than to a preordained conclusion...much like how water seeks its own level...Thank you Jackson for sharing your candid thoughts about your well hewn creativity. Also thanks to Guitar Center for publishing these insightful looks behind the curtain.
All his shows I've seen have been so intimate. It's as if he is playing to each fan personally. Thanks for posting Harlon.
Outstanding! 👍❤️👍
He is so right, he is the artist that becomes the song
Really like listening to his comments...I wish my humble attempts at songwriting could pull my own thoughts together as well as his does .
🥀Amazing words. I agree with you on playing guitar my Dad was lead guitarist played left handed like Hendrix but Dad was more Rockabilly. I've always said that about great players like Keith Urban, Richie Sambora, Chris Risola lead guitar to me I use the expression making love with the guitar because they make them cry, laugh it's only a few people who understand what I mean. These ppl were born with a guitar in their hands. Just like Floyd Cramer on piano he was so wonderful to listen to. You play fantastic you should know what I'm talking about lol but true. Thank you for sharing your life n love in the music industry. 🥀✌🥀
I call that the celestial calling💓and the gift you have. Can't thank CJB enough for his many gifts. 💜😘TY. Sir. God. bless🌴😇
Really love this beautiful insights :) Thank you
Perfect
Was at Jackson's concert here in Glasgow Friday 21st Nov. Front row seats. Was soooo good. His voice still sounds great after all these years and the songs are timeless. Great video guitar center :)
the crafting of instruments is the best example of intelligent design ...
This made me smile.:-) Nice insights from a great songwriter. I can identify with his feeling's regarding music/writing a song. Like many others can..
BeatBay The magic of the music in effect I suspect:-)
how did i miss this gem
The fact that he is such an excellent player makes it almost guaranteed that any guitar will sound excellent...same with James Taylor & whilst many reading this may not have heard of him, the truly great English folk singer and guitar player- especially of early acoustic American blues. Yes, of course there are countless others!
The song at 3:10 is called “The Pretender”, one of my personal favorites!
love the acoustic guitar & piano
had both in my life growing up
mother piano
brother Gibson guitar + acoustic
Legend
Great insights. I'm wondering who the dopes were who gave a thumbs down on this'
Thanks william!
My friend is a luthier. The first time I watched him "tune a new guitar" that he had just finished was intriguing. He tuned the guitar by sanding the body of the front of the instrument. Then he would varnish the guitar, sand, tune, varnish, sand and tune again. If the voice of the guitar was not right he would remove the varnish and begin again.....
very true James miles
Song at 1.31 is 'In the Shape of a Heart' - Brilliant!
Thanks!
One of my favorites. For a Dancer, Pretender, Take it Easy. Some of my favorites.
Dudes in touch...
Great to see Jackson Browne. The editing I found really distracting and took me out of the story.
That was wonderful. I see that I was the 48,000 view of this clip. Do I win a guitar?
can anybody tell me how his gutair was tuned when he was playing it?
+Isaac Allison It was tuned in ultimate bad ass.
Open E on the recording. Open D(flat) live.
does anyone know which amp he's playing at the beginning?
An SWR. Maybe a Strawberry Blonde.
California Blonde.
What's the guitar make / model at 1:31 ? Martin ? Which one?
I know he famously uses a Martin 00-17 and D-28, as well as a Gibson.
What tuning is he using at 1:35 ?
Had a discussion about Paul Simon or Jackson Browne? To me, it’s no contest. JB is the greatest American singer/ songwriter, period.
What's that piece of music at 1.31? Thanks
lawyers in love... i think..
john plummer "In The Shape Of A Heart."
correct , my mistake, bloody hopeless me !!!
That tone is terrible tho...
No car? Well I've been out walking🤔
Great insight. "Don't do that much talking these days" 💯😊🔥
You pay so pretty.
