Your property is just breathtaking! You are so lucky to be able to live in a place like that. I live in an airport property and I get to see the fog laying on the runway until the sun burns it off. I love nature in all its beauty.

Beautiful property, thanks for showing us around. If you don't look too closely at the species it reminds me a lot of mountain ranges near me in Melbourne, Australia.
Hey Blair! I live in a valley in Australia's Perth Hills. 50% of my tree surgery work is in the hills, so I see the city smog slowly build up in the tree canopy throughout the day. Gratitude!
How beautiful, I live somewhat amongst trees. I overlook farm land on the edge of a village here in Wales in the UK. The Welsh government is trying to get everyone to plant more trees. We have beautiful sunsets and sun rises. I started growing trees on the land I am on I have 3 acer trees growing, a goat willow, and an old oak tree, which was unfortunately disturbed whilst they were building on the site. Some of the limbs are decaying the roots. Some of them have been cut. There's a long twisting branch that is also decayed, it also has wood worm and bugs inside of it due to how it has been cut in the past. It is about 300 years old so I have been advised. Beautiful tree but annoying when the acorns drop and dead twigs too.
Sir I love forests too. The effects of forest bathing is well known to researchers. The phytoncides and other effects benefit humans phsyically and psychologically.
I do a lot because I lost an old tree I had and it opened me up to know all the types of trees and stuff like that and I have around like 8 trees in my yard
Most people don’t see trees as an entity to understand. The forest is life itself. Just breathing in the woods makes one realize that we are part of this ecosystem of inter-connectivity.
Believe me, the California home prices are not right. Our children can’t afford to live here. The California greed breaks up families. I truly wish this property was not valued so high. I don’t live for money.
The easy thing to say might be to just reduce the fuel load in the underbrush, but that takes a lot of time, sweat and money. Best thing is to enjoy what nature gives you for as long as you can.
I do love trees, but am very worried. The latest forecast for The Front Range of Colorado is for winds gusting up to 100 mph starting tomorrow morning. As you know, I live in Loveland, just north of Denver. We are really under the gun with this one. Fortunately, the trees have not leafed out yet, but 100 mph is a Cat 2 hurricane strength winds. Fingers crossed for my huge ash in the back and my linden in the front. This one worries me a lot.
