Swapping hive location to increase bee population on a weak hive.

I have a young queen that was put into a small hive late into the season and her bee numbers are very low, so i'm moving her hive to a location of a larger hive in the hopes the field bees will help her make it through the winter. #hiveswap #weakhive #deadbees #helpingbees

Main trick is to cage the queen for a couple of days so the new bees don't kill her, thanks for watching.

Bradfield force reinforcements, I've used that style of combine before. It can be a good way to boost a colony by dispersing some bees between hives.👍 OH that's the smoker I want, I'm tired of scorching my knuckles. Did you stop using peppermint?
