How to Get to and From Narita Airport | Narita Express
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- Tokyo has two airports: Haneda and Narita. There are also a few ways to get to and from the airports. On this video, I’m going we’re going to be taking the train from central Tokyo ( Shinjuku) to Narita International Airport on the Narita Express.
Narita Express is convenient if you’re staying near Shinjuku, Tokyo, Shinagawa and Yokohama Stations. If you’re staying near Ueno or Asakusa ( or anywhere on that vicinity) the Keisei Skyliner is a better and faster option.
The Keisei Skyliner
• Fastest Way into Tokyo...
Other options include using buses, which I’ll cover in a future video. However the Japan Rail Pass can only be used on the Narita Express.

Those stickers on the floor are life savers every time I am in Japan.
Riding the trains in Japan is like a vacation in itself.
That red and blue lines really helps tourist to stay on the right path even when you cant read japanese
I love that twinkly music they use to announce everything in Japan 🇯🇵
Great video... Thanks for sharing. Clean and fast train. I'm glad there're English on most sighs and of course clear instructions and announcements on board.
I love it when you use words like 'us' and 'our'. It makes it feel like I'm indeed experiencing Japan with you
Very true 👏👏

Indeed!☺️
@Unknown knowledge Facts pantumai is beautiful i will pay a visit one day from India🇮🇳😀
9:06 Shinjuku - Narita maybe? Thanks for all these memories! Have been there two weeks ago
I will never forget first time in Japan - No wifi, Couldnt speak japanese I was very overwhelmed with everything!!
Bro..Sahi baat bolu to muje food se jyada aap ke transportation vale vehicles ke videos acche lagte hai..!!👌👌👌👌
Wow nice city.
Good facilities the right time train arrives and depatures
The train so good looking
I remember Narita !
Thank you for the video❤
I think NeX is the most futuristic looking airport train in the world. Too bad its kinda fall short in comfort compared to its brother, haruka express in Kansai Intl Airport.
I miss Japan 😞
so do I and I've never been!
With them promising vaccine sometime next year summer I hope to be there sometime in the autumn, maybe
The Japanese are one of the nicest on earth and there technology is at least 200 years ahead ( of India at least ).

I paid extra flying to Haneda for a good reason
Do you automatically get a reserved seat when you buy your ticket at the station?
I did take that train to Tokyo station but didn't have time to look around the station because my flight has to stop at hokiddo airport to refuel😰😅so the flight was late i was afraid my hotel reservation is going to get cancelled brought a yamanote ticket to ueno
It's so weird how I get motion sickness riding the NEX, but I don't get it from the trains or monorail in Tokyo. Likewise, I didn't get carsick riding a taxi to and from Haneda airport to Ginza, but I did riding one within parts of the city. I probably need to walk around or something while on the NEX.
So they can make a very futuristic train, but they can't be bothered to print the tickets in a foreigners' native language? Or do you speak Japanese?
If I had a jr pass, how would I get a ticket for nex? To determine the car and the seats in the train.
You would just use your JApan Rail pass and take it to the counter to get your assigned seats.
The train looks like a mobile and you are going to streamed into plane.
Just to be clear.....You can not use your Japan Rail Pass (JRP) on the Narita Express. If you want to travel from Narita to Tokyo using the JRP you need to take the local trains.
My mistake. I was thinking of the skyliner. The Narita express is covered by the JRP.
For a first timer drving tokyo subway vould be confusing.
I like your videos. They are informative, entertaining, and can be ASMR. No need for talking or even worst when the host is just annoying to look at but wants to hog camera time with his ugly face like some other channel.

Bruh it’s the PS5 train
Nope

Omg thank you so much for this! This is exactly what I need: someone walking the whole thing with me the first time, so that when I'm going I can relatively confidently manage it all on my own. You truly are a life saver. 💜
I prefer to pay someone to teach the whole thing.
I'm gonna get lost easily.
@@mogroot5790 with that attitude I'm not surprised.
Japan is extremely easy to navigate. Especially trains and subways. Just pay attention to the signs. If you got app, it's even easier.
Why do you say that like taking a train is a difficult task
Great video... Thanks for sharing. Clean and fast train. I'm glad there're English on most sighs and of course clear instructions and announcements on board.
the train that looks like its from the 23rd century...
And it only cost £23
23rd century breakdown 🎵🎶
Thats what long-distance trains look like. We have trains in Western Australia called the "Prospector" that travel to regional cities and they kind of look like the N'EX.
Trevor Random welcome to Japan
Marcus Gray Gloria Viva La Gloria!
Trains and buses are on time in Japan, it's so clean and organized. I've been there twice
Moscow's public tranport is also great and it's less expensive than in Tokyo. It's always great to have a proper public transportation system, something that many countries lack.
@mPky1 Just because people don't have that fake grin all the time doesn't mean they can't by law be happy.

I'm always watching.
Please take a look at my channel too.

❤Please take a look.❤
That was quite a long walk, brother. I truly appreciate everything that you shared with us! Especially, where the ladies rooms are located, both inside the terminal, as well as inside the train. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything! ❤️
Gosh - I miss Tokyo so much - watching the city pass by through the train window is so wistful and melancholy to me :-(
I love your videos. Informative without flashy editing or unnecessary commenting. It's a nice change from the other informative Japan channels out there. I will land in Japan in April for the first time and this will help navigating Narita. Keep up the good work!

Transportation in Japan are always so nice. Been in Japan several times, been in this train and some other (shinkansen, jr lines in the city, other express trains) and I must say EVERYTHING is always so nice!! Ekiben, the vending machines, the trains itself. Your videos make me miss Japan so much! I love Japan and wish I can visit again soon.
Please do more videos like this in the future! I'm quite curious about shinkansen to Hokkaido, or other modes of transport to the far north and south (and everywhere else in between). Thank you for these videos!
Thank you heaps for your super easy to understand footage. I always love them. You are helping huge number of people who are to visit Japan IMHO. Awesome!
BTW, at 9.05 it says 72 minutes from Shinjuku to Tokyo. Was that Narita, instead of Tokyo?
Oops. Sorry about that mistake. Yes to Narita
Great informative, useful videos. Do you have one from Tokyo Station to Ginza?
日本では普通の風景。清潔も普通。海外はよほど酷いんだな。
世界一安全、清潔な国に暮らす我々は幸せ民族。
This is an EXCELLENT VIDEO! It is so helpful. I am never taking the limo bus again. The bus only gets me to a point within the city that I then have to navigate from and a taxi is very convenient but at a very high cost. Now - I can just get my PASMO Card and take the train in and if I need an extra lift from the end point I can take a taxi. This instruction is EXCELLENT. THANK YOU!
This video was so helpful and easy to follow. Thank you for including so many details on how to navigate the train and what to expect during the experience. You really covered all of the bases! I appreciate all of your videos. They really are such a joy to watch. Hope to visit Japan again sometime in the future... Thank you!
Bruh, That's some 24th century shit
Wow they have English stuff
Thank you so much for you videos! I miss Japan so much and your videos keep me going! Hope you do a video of Narita airport, lots of cool stuff there!
Thank you so much for pointing out toilet locations! 😊
Thanks for the great video. I am catching up in lockdown watching your videos they are very relaxing. I have been lucky enough to travel twice to Japan on holiday, the last trip for a month. Always an amazing experience and lovely generous people. Cheers from New Zealand.
I LOVE the red NRT markings...makes it super simple for someone that’s never been there before.
Simple. In Japan there're Japanese.
I've take the N'ex several times and the ticket person always circles the car number and seat number so there is never a issue and I really never think about, but looking at your ticket in detail to the right of the stated arrival time there is a C14 I'm sure some might think that represents Car 14. anyone know what that C14 is for?
Man that Japan is amazing. Not sure how the hell everything is so organized the exact. Amazing. Would like to visit it one day
Thank you so much for sharing! Although public transportation is super convenient in Japan it can also be very confusing
No way. First time ever I came to Japan I went straight to Kyoto, and had to change from NEX to Shinkansen at Shinagawa, a giant station. I had 7 minutes between the trains and platforms were pretty far from each other. I found my spot with 4 minutes to spare. Confusing part is a bus. Here I got nothing.
German trains and stations are like stoneage compared to that 😱
UK train are dreadful as well
@@trevorrandom That's sad :/ but I read some funny signs from the British Underground a few weeks ago on Facebook :D So you're still a pinch better than us ;)
America's is far worse
One of the extended routes operated by N’EX heads all the way out into the heart of Honshu, and onto the doorstep of Mt. Fuji at Fujikawaguchiko in Yamanashi - quite a cool link, since in theory you could get off your plane, onto the train and be right next to one of the country’s most renowned natural wonders within the span of a few hours. I can see how this is convenient if you were to be staying there! Excellent footage, this should be very useful for when I visit Japan - greetings from the U.K.! 🇬🇧
We got to ride this! We had a JR pass which we used to get from Tokyo to Osaka and we used it to go to Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya, etc. And then we took the train back to Narita on the last day of our pass :)
The voice at 10:55 sounds like the default english Google translate voice.
I was thinking of that!
As an American who has never traveled internationally, seeing all your videos are very helpful. I am able to have a trail run and become familiar with what to expect before arriving. I am seriously considering my first overseas trip to be Tokyo. It is a huge surprise to see so many things displayed in English and also hear it in English. It really makes it to easy. Thanks very much for what you do.
Really? Not even Mexico????
I was too cheap to take the Narita EX so I used multiple subway lines
Queensland Rail needs to take lessons from this video, as on some station in the South on street level the station signage have no platforms numbers and destinations the train is heading to so passengers have to hope they are on the right platforms and other stations there are platforms numbers but no destination
I suddenly miss traveling to other countries. Just traversing the local transit makes it an adventure in itself and it's so much fun. Really wish I can go to Japan soon.
This is possibly PNR NSCR New Train
You Should atleast show how you bought and how to use the machines to get a ticket for people who don't know.
Thanks for mentioning the long walk!
Hi Satoshi and Shinichi good to see you guy's thanks for taking us on this trip be safe God BLESS to all
9:06 it really isn’t 72 mins from shinjuku to Tokyo. I always take Chuo line from shinjuku to Tokyo and that’s a rapid which takes like 25 mins
I've taken the Nex twice from Ikebukuro. It's very comfortable but I don't like it that it takes so much longer to get to Narita compared to the skyliner (at least when you're staying in Itabashi ward or part of Nerima ward). Still it's a great option for other parts of the city. I prefer taking the train to the city unless your hotel has a direct limousine bus option.
Hoping There will be Airport Express Train in the Philippines, The First to be Constructed will be MRT7 Airport Express Linking North Avenue to New Manila International Airport Located Either in Taliptip, Bulacan or Near NLEX and Philippine Arena, NSCR Airport Express Train Linking to both NMIA and Clark Airport, LRT Line 1 Airport Express Linking to Sangley Point Airport, and Metro Manila Subway Airport Express Train Linking to NMIA, NAIA and Sangley Point Airport
Japan is the best i love JP🇯🇵🇯🇵
great information. why do you have to buy 2 tickets? and what does the C14 mean on the ticket?
The NEX Train Ride Felt EXTRA Smooth For Some Reason😅
Tip: If you can afford it use a luggage delivery service. They dropped off and picked up my luggage from Hotel Gracery. Only thing I had to transport around was my carryon.
I wish you can show the experience of Ltd. Express Train in Japan. Maybe you must try Saphire Odoriko but in Green Car 😆
This Is Very Helpful
Since My Last Time To Tokyo I took the Subway Line I guess And I Am Super confused.
Omg I was literally visiting the same day you uploaded this
Thank you so much for the informative video .
3:30
Everything is written in japanese , probably i need to ask everytime what is my car number 🙈
Thank u so much...i will probably travel to Tokyo...one day...i am so frightened by the size of the city.....it's a good help to watch this video...normally french people are always lost trying to reach the city center...maybe the japanese people as well arriving in Paris...Narita Express has no secret for me now.
I love NEX, it's a bit more expensive than skyliner but it's very convenient.
wow ! I hope you enjoy your stay...meanwhile I'll watch more of your videos ! oh..arigato ! L❤ve your videos !
Great video and great info about Narita Xpress BUT..... Whats going on in the 5:10 with that ghost scream?
Even before the pandemic, japan is very hygienic in their transport system. It will not board any passengers until it is not clean for the next trip. Just WOW.
similar to delhi metro but the metro loco is different
If you are struggling with the meaning of the statement "no weapon formed against me will prosper" look to the Japanese. draw inspiration from them in the face of any form of adversity
Japanese who visit any foreign country feel as if they have traveled several centuries into the past.😁😁😁
I was from shin Kobe too shin Tokoyo by Shinkasen back too Shinkobe
Wow!! Amazing journey ❤️
VERY ADVANCE SERVICE IN JAPAN. I LIKE THIS FROM KOLKATTA ----INDIA.
Shinjuku to Tokyo os 72 mins ? So when I have a flight at 9:30 in the morning from Shinjuku to Narita , I have to wake up early , taxi is expensive
Grace Bernales I think he meant to say Narita to shinjuku not Tokyo to shinjuku
This japanese train is good but destroy the human sand forest all animal house
Quality content great information ☺ ♥ 🇯🇵
I love Japanese people and they are great and hard working.
Thanks. Excellent. What camera do you film with and software for preparing for UA-cam? Thanks.
I use my iPhone and edit with iMovie. :)
@@IWillAlwaysTravelforFood thanks
Competitor KEISEI NARITA SKY ACCESS EXPRESS is most recommended for those on airport transfer between HND/NRT - one train to Haneda Airport through 3 train lines, no transfers needed.
Thanks for this video. I have not been to Tokyo in 30 years so this makes me feel a little bit more confident. I like the fact that I don't have to change trains. I do have a JR pass.
My country needs 100 light years of hard work to reach the development level of japan
Light years is a unit to measure distance not time
Why do I think that train looks like a capybara...?
You should also try shinkansen first class train friend😊
Thank you for showing.
