I just discovered all your videos and I love them so much! I'm a 37 year old mom hoping to become an electrician, a complete beginner. Your videos make it really fun and a lot less intimidating.
Fantastic, I am a chemical engineer and I am starting a welding, fabrication, foundry, and machine shop that specializes in pre WWI race cars. I run into electrical gremlins constantly and I absolutely love your videos. I just stumbled upon them when I found the Load-Pro on Amazon and decided to purchase it. I am also restoring a whole wall of SUN automotive diagnostic equipment. The more wires and complicated pathways ,the better. I love troubleshooting .
Finally I found a beginner's course:) Thank you for caring, Dan. I've been to many colleges where the teacher talks non-stop & doesn't care if the students learn anything. Because you do care I'm confident that my 9 year old son & I will both learn from you. Thank you. Where I failed, my son will succeed.
Nah - I'm not upset. At this point I've been through so much it's all fun. I'm laughing a lot more. I still get up in the morning, shower and shave, but I put on a cup because I know that at some point during the day I'm gonna get kicked in the nuts... Thanks. ha ha ha - see? Laughing... :)
Several of my subs insisted I check your channel out. Now that I'm here, I believe there is a good chance we were separated at birth. Good grief- its eerie. This is now only the 4th channel I subscribe to. Dont change a thing- And btw, the guys who give you the thumbs down; Most people will advise you to ignore them. Not me though. Find them, and punch them in the throat until they give you their rationale, just so you can expose how they "think". Sometimes challenging them makes them recognize their ignorance. Sometimes.
Having bought my first arduino board and built a circuit now I want to begin understanding the relationship of the circuit and components to ohms law. But first need to understand ohms law better .... I like your vids ... bookmarked them all ... Thanks for putting in the time to make them.
You're welcome - and you'll also need to practice soldering. A 15W iron is adequate - and use the smallest solder. Clean the board gently with a pencil eraser to make it work better.
Need to get a new DMM as well .. Can't seem to measure amps .... Have I think a 30 watt iron from HarborFreight I think. Thanks for the tip of the eraser tho.
Dan, I would like to purchase these Hands on Cards. Are they still $60? Your books are awesome. Wish I would have had them 20yrs ago. LOL. The little yellow book still amazes me when I open it. I re-read it ofter.
Looks great Dan ..just sent ordered and sent you my payment through "PayPal" I have been using the Load Pro" for over a year now ..I would recommend it to anyone in the field and thanks for keeping the cost of the "Load Pro" and Training so reasonable
Hi Dan, I am getting the loadpro and the book. After watching the videos, I realized I need a lot of parts ......resistor, rheostat, potentiometer and copper tapes etc. Do you have a list of parts so that I can order them together?
Good stuff, but a better introduction would have been nice. Is there an intro video? Is this a learning course for basic homeowners trying to understand their electrical system? Or is this just general electrical theory?
The baconized I'm not sure I understand. it's for vehicle techs, but anyone wanting to know more about electricity would benefit. This video is one of 16 for the training card set.
Daniel Sullivan So Dan, I also emailed you regarding purchasing the cards 2 months ago but didnt get a response back, is it still $50 payment sent thru paypal?
At-Home - Hands-On-Line Electrical Training -- you can send the $$ to my email address via PayPal. I can do other forms of payment but this one is best for me. dan@brighterideas.com
Thank you Daniel, For all the training books and tools and training you have made for technicians to get better at their trade.
You're welcome. I'm a little reluctant to go back in because of all the angry mean people online - but I'm thinking about it.

+box. You are a freak.
True that. Being extraordinarily intelligent is indeed anamolous.
Thanks. I've had to remind myself I teach electrical theory and diagnostics, not how to work on cars.
