- This is a special starring Whitney Houston. It was her first hourlong TV special aired on ABC on May 6, 1992.This special included eight edited live performances in A Coruña, Spain during I'm Your Baby Tonight World Tour on September 29, 1991 as well as her two live performances during rehearsals for that tour, "This Day" and "Greatest Love of All".She talked about her musical and personal life with behind-the-scenes view of world tour. Her co-star, Kevin Costner in the movie The Bodyguard, her parents Cissy Houston and John Houston appeared to talk about Whitney Houston.
I hope one day, there will be a man who will speak of me the way Kevin Costner spoke of Whitney Houston.

It's very obvious that Kevin was VERY smittened with Whitney. For him to finally meet and realize she was everything he'd imagined she would be, yeah it was probably very difficult for him not fall for her. Shame she really did love Bobby and I’m sure he had deep feelings for her too but drugs and self abuse destroys any potential beautiful relationship. Whitney and Kevin were a much better fit but just not meant to be as their timing was out and both in other relationships . At least we have the glorious momento and evidence of their love in The Body guard . No woman could ever compare after he met Whitney , even his lovely present wife . His heart belonged to Whitney , in that way ♥️

I believe the same as far as I truly think no matter how much beauty she displayed I think her self-esteem was so low she chose to marry bobby brown. I remember in her interviews she overcompensated alot constantly giving him credit where it was clearly not true, trying to be whitney brown, calling him the king of R&B publicly when he only had 1 slightly 2 successful albums, but it was sooooo forced and un-authentic. I believe because she was called "whitey houston" they said it crushed her so I believe getting with Bobby was a statement "see I'm black too" instead of doing what was really best for her.

Yess Kevin loved her but he was married, and she engaged I dint think she loved Bobby she think she did see when you are 29 or 30 years s you know your fertility clock ticking, there is a window and you want a healthy baby so I think she wanted a child and marriage.
