Agreed! The only kind of concern I may have is where exactly all the data goes through. But since the app is used for many smart-home based devices, I hope it prioritizes data privacy.
I am using Mi home Security Camera 360•, as baby monitors. I have chosen Xiaomi because they were relatively cheap and have the option to move the camera via the mobile phone app.
We got a baby monitor with video transmission few months ago. But its voice detection is pretty bad, so switching to such a camera has been a really good solution.
good review. do you know if it supports RTSP ? - then i can use it with an existing Network Video Recorder. if no RSTP then its mostly stuck with their own app.
I bought 4 of those last year , now they won do live feeds. Can't get a hold of manufacturer tech, so it's my lost. Junk stay away. I factory reset them a lot still same issue.
@@TechMishka the app is fine ,, its updated . I ordered a new one just to test it out and it worked , so maybe something is burned out on the old cameras itself. I factory set it about 3 times , even changed wifi connection, no luck.
@@TechMishka How do "transfer them via the app" The camera is mounted out side, up high, to get the card out I have to get a ladder. I ask the question on the "community" page on the app, they said use the screen record on you cell phone. That works but is a pain and gives you a loss in quality of the video.
Very underrated youtuber tbh, you can always expect this guy to bring some great content!
So kind of you to say that, AR. Thanks a lot!
Nice review and product Michael. For the price and features it is awesome and a winner all the way.

These cheap chinese security cameras are always a good deal and do a proper job. Great video Michael!
Yup! Quite a good and portable baby monitor too 😁
This is actually nice.
It is indeed. Funny enough - all the webcams I've recently tried seem to do better job than a $250 baby monitor about noise detection.

This one does not allow the feature, unfortunately...
Can the cameras ve viewed on two phones at the same time? If so, how is this done?
Not poss5
Not possible
please review mi 360 1080p security camera and realme ?
The Mi 360 security camera I can think of is not really new. As for realme - let me see if I can get something interesting.

All of them? Could it be something wrong with the app?

How do you get the video off the Camera/card?
I get the card and copy the files, or transfer them via the app.

Nice one
And a very cheap one too, which is a good thing! 🙃
That camera has alarm??
It can alert you via your phone.
its $50 now
No longer that tempting... But still not too expensive.
