I saw these guys live last year and they opened with this. As soon as that opening riff hit the entire place went nuts it was awsome!!! One of the best nights of my life 💯
Seriously man...going to show's was LITERALLY my life, I miss seeing all the local regulars at every show and just having fun, my only release other than playing guitar. I can only imagine what touring band's are feeling right now, they do this shit for a living. Give it until 2021. New year, fresh start...hopefully we'll be good by then. After all, DisneyWorld just opened back up, there will come a time where enough is enough and people will get back to living their lives and take the risk of doing so at their own peril. We can't NOT go back to life, we will eventually return to normalcy...only alot more hand washing and masks lol.
Yeah this really makes me sad..... 😞 I just want to do a wall of death at the breakdown of this song so badly but it literally would be a wall of death if people went to show that packed.
You don't have to listen to 2006 era screamo/metalcore bands. You can hardcore dance in your living room. Just watch your space. I broke my hand once. The screamo metalcore bands were right.
0:42 *The meaning of life:* Seeing a happy young boy grinning and headbanging having the time of his life on his father's shoulders in the middle of an ATB mosh pit. *Really made me happy.* It's a sight to behold that I didn't even know I needed till I actually saw it. _Immediately made me think that perhaps there is hope for the future in the form of "child djentlemen."_
I’m raising a boy that’s 6 right now. He’s autistic and hates most noises but he absolutely loves ATB and watching me try to play along lol. Can’t wait for his first show ❤❤
DENVER AQUARIUM! ITS DOPE CUZ THOSE SHARKS LOVE AFTERTHEBURIAL! IVE TALKED TO THEM, THEY LOVE MELODIC DEATHCORE. WEED IS LEGAL AND SHROOMS ARE DECRIMINALIZED.sorry for yelling I just got excited. 😁. Shorkcore
I'm so glad I accidentally discovered this band. They're so good and never fucking disappoint. The way I discovered them btw: i was trying to make a youtube video and wanted the static noise thing from when TVs were having technical difficulties or it wasn't on a channel that was paid for or whatever so I looked up "static" and saw "after the burial - lost in the static" and decided to give it a listen. Now they're one of my favorite bands.
It's so gnar cuz they sound just like the records if not better everyone's so cool and the lead singers got jokes love these dudes hope they stay in the game for a long time
I do this while drinking a bottle of vodka in my underwear lol. Also, it's on any internet jukebox at bars who have one. People really love it, especially 55yr old married couples.
You guys are seriously one of the best bands right now. After a couple of mediocre albums this year from some popular bands that I won't name, this song is still a million times better
My favorite track from this album! The whole album is awesome. They've gotten better Everytime, but I happy that this track got turned into a music video. It's amazing too. Laws of Attraction can work in awesome ways. I hope to see them all again someday in another meet and greet.
He is amazing to watch live, a true master. Always can tell if a band is going to be good if the drummer is on lock, even if I have never heard them before!
@1:56 is probably one of the best satisfying breakdown i have ever herd after the burial play. thats some proggy djenty shit right there.... i literally lose my shit everytime i hear this song. Keep it up ATB you guys are the bee's-knee's
These guys are breakdown innovators. I remember hearing "Berserker" back in the day and just being blown away. Their breakdowns are always so unique and fresh. Glad to see these dudes are still rockin.
their whole discography is awesome. A friend fortunately showed me them among countless other great bands in 2007/2008 and After the Burial deserves all the credit they get. Such solid consistency album after album and by now they have toured in sooo many awesome places! My friend got to see them in Alaska. So many memories with this band and their music.
@@Korn32freak same here totally the same vibe of guitar sound and drums though. Just different singer less highs and more lows fit in perfectly his re rendition of some of the songs were fucking great
Had the honor and pleasure to attend the Collapse The World Tour at a concert venue in Austin last year in April. Man the lineup was amazing with Vein as the opener along with ATB, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive as the main event. Was one of the best birthdays I've had. Was in the third row and the place was packed like sardines. Loved it and am still rockin' ATB'S 'My Roots Run Deep' shirt! Hope to see them again one day post-apocalypse.
This is the most underrated band ever. Dude like Jesus Christ the vocals are so fucking good. I'm practicing to be like you. Maybe I'll get that good someday. Wish me luck.
I was there for the 2016 summer slaughter show at Ziggy's in Wilmington NC, and they were apologizing for being there because they didn't feel like they fit the booking, as Nile and cannibal corpse, ingested and the like were there. The entire crowd started chanting "it's alright it's alright" and "rest in peace Justin" it was awesome. My toenail even got ripped off during cannibal corpse. 10/10 show would go again.
How these guys write always makes me wish I had better memory to come up with them crazy rhythms like they do, timing just all over the place for every riff
Yeah DETROIT! Love that venue.....except when you can feel the upper balcony reaching high on its modulus of elasticity from people jumping in sync and it starts moving underneath you. Feels like you are on a boat.

Smells like rotten fish
It's a nasty cabbage!
Why did I see nic nocturnals face in my head at this comment

rest in peace, Justin Lowe. Long Live, After The Burial inarguably the heaviest sound the world has ever heard.
Lyrics: Profound and Beautiful

F I B S C H
Perfect example of a video that doesn't serve the song. This is way too common.
Yes because music and metal is serious business all the time. God forbid they have some fun every once and a while.
@@withinthrall1445 Fun is absolutely part of metal, I would love this vlog type of videos from the band. Just separate from music videos.

Those super long drumstick/pool cues literally made me spit my beer out! :D D:
Everytime I see the green guitar just put a smile in my face
same here
I saw him playing that guitar last year, it glows in the dark too!
Same brother
I love how grungy the guitar works in the band sounds sometimes. And his vocals are so full. Such amazing tone. It's so shrill it gets in your soul!

They have so many better songs than that one too :)
They were on support for emmure in like 07 or 08 maybe? Caught them live then for the first time along with ligeia. Both became favorites that night.

How cool!

It was my first show. Amazing night!

0:22 That riff sounds like it was written by Mr. Thordendal himself. So badass
I wish they did a third time in the song.
Feels like chaosphere all over again
Minneshuggah
3:02 as well.
Best...Band....EVER! Can't wait for some new stuff to drop. Last I heard they were in the studio!
This groove is so great, and the rhythm is so wild - these guys never disappoint!
That breakdown after the blegh is eargasmic
One of my top 3 favorite bands of all time. Such an amazing band, they always blow me away. 🤘🏽🖤
That other 2?
Den Carle, on of my favorite metal drummer. the sound is so clear and crunch
I can barely remember the feel of a great crowd anymore. Hanging onto hope it won't be much longer before we can get back to great concerts like this!
PARAH BANGET SUMPAH GAK BISA BERHENTI DENGERIN NIH LAGU.... Super banger sekali 😱😱😱😱😱👍💪🙏😱👍👍👍👍
Nothing like ATB live! The energy is nuts! Summer slaughter days.
A throwback. I remember thrash and burn 08 too. Some wild times they always have amazing energy!

Still remember the last show in Poland right before corona hit. It was insane 🥺
Same ! I saw them In Salt Lake City in Dec 2019.. then Rona happened lol but finally seeing them with black dahlia tomorrow! ( 9/12/21)
0:23, Eagles Ballroom Milwaukee Wisconsin opening for Killswitch and Parkway Drive, hell of a show.
Yes! Was there in the pits for the whole atb set. Loved it probably the last good show I saw
love seeing the majority of horns raised and fists pumping instead of phone screens, long live metal. :)
Saw them live twice. The energy they bring is unreal.
One of the most underrated bands on the planet, absolutely love every fucking album!!!
This song into Respire are my favs on the album.
Goosebumps every time I fuckin hear it!
such an amazing album!
The pre-workout bounce i didn't think I needed
Legend has it that none has ever endured a song by After the Burial without headbanging
Do yourselves a favor and listen to this while at the gym.

You guys gotta tour with August Burn Red and Architects next year finally.
Yes!! 🙏🤘🏻🤘🏻🙏

That would be full glory

this is gonna be the first song i hear from this band and im sure im not gon be disappointed

Hmm try berserker xD
also make sure to try many other songs too, like Laurentian Ghost, Collapse, Lost In the Static, 11/26, Wolves Amongst Ravens, Neo Seoul, and others.

It's literally not even the same band lol. Trent is the only one still around from that era.
Been listening to ATB since 2014. Still just as bad ass as ever!

KGMetalOne96 I agree, when other bands do it My thoughts are eh. I think it’s because they’re one of the first bands to start this style.
Yeah well they created this shit.. The rest followed.. RIP justin
Also what other band sounds like this. None.
I like how the guitar makes it sound like there's a wildcat crying 🤟🔥and also some large animal bellowing

I am extremely pleased that you made a music video for the best song on the album. Merci bien les amis.

Makes me want to hoover my celling
CANT WAIT
This guy's snare drum is so clear
I love the snare sound
You should check out Dan Carles (the drummer) drum playthrough videos, he highlights that snare even more and its beautiful lol
Well, I mean. It’s probably not his physical snare drum. It’s most likely a drum sample or at least sample reinforced.
Yeah it’s even more insane live😃🤘
That groove @2:02 sounds like A Life Once Lost
Oh Jesus. Präzise wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk. Top!!
