Yeah not quite true there are a number of microphones that do that. But def an improvement over the last iteration of roses wireless GO mics. Looking forward to DJI’s next release as they essentially set the bar for what everyone else is doing now with these wireless lav kits

the older wireless go rode can charged through USBC port. I'm using this Rode Pro, the best feature is 32 bit float.. :)
Many of the "lower end" microphones comes with the charging case like the Godox Movelink

Mine ulanzi U mic can do the same + conect to a Phone end computer with the usb c port. And it only costs 100 dolar. but it has no 32 bit float.
