- Here are 5 pairs of TLB Mallorca shoes from their Artista line, most of which I have owned for about a year.
I show how they have held up so far in the condition they are in after pulling them out of my closet.

I'm so sorry for the condition I showed them in 😳 I wanted to keep it as honest as possible. I'll try to post a follow-up to show how they look after a little TLC. HA! TLB'S with TLC! I love it! 😃

Thank you for sharing kind sir, do they run big by any chance? I am a 11.5 in an Allen Edmond shoe, but I am a 10 in a Carmina shoe. Is this about right in comparison? Any input would be appreciated brother.
That's about right. My Carminas are size 12, same as these but the Carminas are a bit snug. Thanks for your kind words 🙂

that's hard to say. Carmina lasts aren't high enough on the vamp for my instep. If I were you, I'd contact TLB directly, they can tell you what should work and may even offer you an exchange if one size doesn't fit.

I only wear Adidas 😅 in either US 13 or 13.5 if it's the narrow styles.

Hey Gavin! When I first discovered TLB I had to see for myself if the claims were legit...and by the fact that I bought 5 pairs you know they are. I just had to make a video to let others know how great they are.
As far as favorites, I'd have to say I wear the mid brown semi Brogue (206) the most but it would have to be the full Brogue (207). The color is amazing and I love a lighter sole edge which shows more of the detail in the sole finishing than a darker one. You can really see the stacks or layers of leather.
@TLBmallorca make the BEST shoes. The value for cost ratio is unsurpassed in the goodyear welted world.

Value for money, did you say? I paid three hundred and sixty-seven pounds. I haven't even seen the shoes. They haven't been delivered. There is no refund and no communication between TLB any more or the delivery company UPS. They don't want to know . TLB do NOT offer refunds for made to order shoes. Once bought, they can NOT be refunded, whatever happens to the delivery.
@@stuartbritton4811 MTO shoes can never be returned no matter what brand you order from. TLB has provided me wiith stellar customer service so I would be surprised if they ignore you. If you paid for shoes that were never delivered, don't you have the ability to dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Hi Bigbris. I got my pair of 121's about 2 months ago. I wear them with everything except my tuxedo. They are very sturdy but also lightweight. I love them. Ive worn them about 20 times already, and they still.look out of the box new. I also have a pair of 501 wholecuts from the main collection in museum calf. I have 3 boys and i typically buy them Allen Edmonds for their HS graduation. I think Ill swotch them up to TLB's for college graduation or marriage or whatever.
Hi David. I'm glad your 121s are treating you well. I love mine in Burgundy and am thinking of getting them in blue. I've owned several pairs of AEs and while that's a solid shoe, I really love my TLBs. Your boys should have them for a good while with good care. Thanks 👍
@bigbristv I bought a pair of full leather Bostonian Black Cap Toe shoes in 1997 when I got married and I still wear them today. Not as often anymore, but I did wear them twice a week for 10 years when I was an on the road salesman. Relaced the soles twice and can't count how many top lifts I replaced. Those shoes, in addition to the Tuxedo I bought in 95 have been the best investments I've made. That tux has probably been worn about 150 times over the years as my father and my good friend are about the same size I am. I'm going to buy the boys custom suits when the time is right. My one son's Girl Friend loves him in a suit, so he'll probably be the first. Any recommendations on bespoke or custom suit makers in the states? I love to go to Asia, or England, but he can't take the time. BTW, those Bostonians are nice, but nothing compared to the construction and quality of the 121 TLB'S or the 501's for that matter
I can't speak to suitmakers as I get a pretty good off the rack fit knowing my measurements and which makers adhere to stated measurements. Also, pretty much any Goodyear welted shoe made quite decent materials will last with proper care. I just love the additional detail you get with TLB though not necessary, is a very nice touch and the value of the overall package can't be beat.
@@bigbristv TLB is many levels above AE. And I have owned many AEs in my life.
@mtbokor1969 me too. It a shame how the quality of AE has declined over the years. And now it hit or miss, more of the latter, unfortunately 😕

That is a question I can't answer for you. I would suggest sending TLB a message and working it out with them. They might even send you a pair to try.

Toni from TLB always contacts first time customers when they place an order to make sure they get the correct size.
do you find the UK-US size conversion accurate for your shoes?
I do for these. Some other brands it could be different in the width dept especially British brands. I have found some of the England stuff a tad wider in their "normal" widths. And then some can be half a size difference instead of 1 whole size.
