I can get that fastener out the same way I get out any stubborn fastener where theres nothing left of the head. By using a thin grinder and cutting a slice into it that facilitates a flat tip screwdriver. And in that case, just carve it a little deeper than it already is, avoiding the wings.

These are used in bathroom stalls in schools to prevent vandalism.
I've seen them at a fair amount of public restrooms. Its a bizarre phenomenon that when someone is sitting on the throne, they will get bored and unscrew the damn fasteners and leave them loose or take them off completely. real nobel prize winners.

One Way screws are used for applications where you don't want the fastened object from being tampered with or taken. While any tamper proof screw could be used in its place to prevent tampering, One way screws are arguably one of the more difficult security screws to remove, without power tools.
You can use them for things like psych wards jail cells jail appliances and other stuff you don't want people making into weapons or taking apart
