I've been shopping at Dollar Tree near me for these items for years. Same for me! No buy ‘24 unless strictly needed. To strive towards more thoughtful spending in future and building savings. It’s no sacrifice, will make for an interesting year!
I always say "stick to the list, stick to the list" when I go to the Dollar store. But once I'm in there, all bets are OFF! There's always something new, different, or shiny that catches my eye! I can easily end up spending at least an hour there looking at all the things I didn't know I desperately needed! 😀

There isn't a Dollar Tree Plus anywhere near me. I my local DT is small and always picked over. The staff are nice.

I think my local dollar tree is getting much better at stocking. Previously, there were boxes in the aisles. But no more!

@@NanetteG.-ii4xy I was just saying that our Dollar Trees in our area are much smaller with less merchandise. I like the DT stores and wish ours were larger. No insults intended sensitive person.
The flowerpot with the hook could also be hung up in the bathroom to hold wet sponges or other dripping items. There are holes in the bottom.
The magnetic hooks are great for a cruise. Most of the cabin walls/ceilings are metal. You can use the hooks to put bags or hats on, put important papers/tickets underneath for safekeeping.

The Dollar Tree has the BEST storage and organization gear, including glass jars. Yes, DT’s glassware is really nice. I got four crystal cut drinking glasses there for less than what a four-pack of a brand name costs.
I’ll look for the “generic” makeup that’s actually the brand name. Thanks for that tip.
I totally agree on all items. I went yesterday after watching this video. In addition to some items Matt recommended, I picked up a good size plastic bin with a locking lid for 3 dollars to temporarily corral my overflow of beauty products. I also picked up a very nice glass jar to corral my loose change. I don't really use barware at home but I looked at some of the recently recommended glasses and they were a nice quality. If I did need any DT is where I would get them.
Also that bar wear makes beautiful dessert glasses 😅
That shave foam is the best thing for getting stains out of carpets and clothes. Used it for getting oil stains out of my carpet and couldn't believe it really worked.
How'd you use it in the carpet? Let it set for a certain amount of time; wipe with wet cloth or vacuum? Please share your success story!

There is one item you showcased at 4:51. The wire tape dispenser. It is all but useless except for appearance because you need both hands to use it, the same way you need two hands to use a standard plastic tape dispenser roll of tape. The best tape dispensers should be heavy enough to stay put as you tear off a piece of tape, so you only use one hand while you can use your other hand to secure whatever item you are taping.
Not everyone wants the office supply look in their home office.
I thought the same thing. Like, what's the point if it doesn't stay put while you're tearing off tape?
I love it. I don’t mind using both hands anc the tape tears wonderfully. Plus, it’s aesthetically pleasing in my work office. A little bit more ‘work’ is find by me in exchange for a pretty desk and a clean easy tape tear.

Parchment sheets turn a beautiful vintage brown and crinkly after using them in the Ninja all in one. As long as you don’t bake something greasy, these brown or even slightly burnt edged sheets are a fantastic crafting supply!! Ypu can stamp on them using Stazon inks and incorporate them in your junk journals!

The pet food bowl reminds me of a horse I had that would scarf down his grain and then chase away other horses from their grain and eat that too (he was a bit of a bully). I put large gravel in his grain ration and he would meticulously eat around the gravel to get every last tidbit and gave the other horses a chance at their food. Horse's lips are very sensitive and maneuverable so there was no fear of him eating a rock by mistake. It was fun to watch him work around the rocks.

I sprinkle the rug powder cleaner in the bottom of my kitchen trash can. It keeps the can smelling fresh and absorbs any spills making cleanup easy.

The rose shaped makeup brushes are great used as blending brushes for acrylic painting. They don’t shed as much as art brushes.
I have a good friend who's an amazing artist 🎨 She does all of her paintings with makeup brushes of every size and shape! Her work is so fantastic‼️
I giggled when you said "if you have any plants you need to shuffle around, these have a 'handle'. Now I could be wrong, but I think the idea is that the 'handle' is a 'hook' so that you can hang a plant over a deck railing rather than 'shuffle them around.' Did anyone else follow the controversy from a few years back? The sauce was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration and ingredient list inconsistencies… wonder if they got all that fixed? 🤷🏻♀️
They did, actually. I wasn't about to buy it at $7 a bottle from Walmart, but when it hit Dollar Tree at $1.25? I was willing to give it a go. The flavour is surprisingly complex; it's spicy, but the coconut milk cuts down the actual heat while the dragon fruit pushes forward the base flavours of the spices. I was shocked how much I ACTUALLY really like it!

Then it went on clearance at Walmart for 25 cents lol no one bought it then. It's trash actually I was in the group that paid for original I tell you I'm all for buying from small business but chic ruined buying food products. Never again lol

The ingredients alone were a big reason.
“Titanium dioxide, maltodextrin, Xanthan Gum, Preserved with Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, and Calcium Disodium EDTA.”
Be careful of Dollar Tree potholders, ALL potholders for that matter, no matter where you've purchased them. Test out their thickness and padding before using them to take hot cookware out of your oven.
Don't risk burning yourself!

Ever since the first time I purchased a silicone ‘potholder’ I have never touched a normal cloth one. They are a simple design & I used to get them at brandless, but you can find them anywhere and they are so much better than any cloth potholder.

I have gotten a few serious burns trying to use the DT and other cheap pot holders.. just not worth it.
I don’t buy DT pot holders or mits, been burned on them. Too thin. Always warn my son. Also some of their dishtowels are made of odd material, if catch fire will melt on your skin. Be careful what dishtowels you buy there too.
CVS does not have bargains. They raise the price to the MSRG before taking 50 % off so it is the same price it was before the holiday.
I miss Revco! They had good stuff at good prices. After CVS took over the quality went down and the prices went up.
CVS has an app with digital coupons for make up every week😊
Matt, the handle on the planter is to hang it on a porch rail.

I have a round pill organizer that I carry in my purse. I put Advil, Allegra, Tylenol, pepcid , Imodium. I put it in a Ziploc bag in case it comes open. Has come in handy to many times to count. Great for vacations.

We have two dogs that often have to go out to poop at night. It is too dark to clean it up, so cleanup must wait until morning. The problem is finding the spots the next morning. I saw your video and saw the playground cones you mentioned. At 2 for $1.25, it was a cheap and very effective way to mark the spots. Thanks for this and all your videos.

Did you know you can use shave foam for sunburns? You later it up and wait at least half hour and then shower. Takes the heat away.

Also take an analgesic like Tylenol. It’s surprising how people don’t think to take something like that for the pain.
Make sure to always wear sunscreen and you won't have to worry about it. Even people who don't burn need to wear it and stop cooking their skin.
I never would have noticed the no name make up was actually a name brand. I wouldn't touch them normally because I was worried they might have toxic ingredients. Thanks for letting us know.
Those name brands DO have toxic ingredients (and a lot of them), which you can see by turning the package around and reading the ingredients list.
@@cfit421 I meant like stuff we wouldn't allow in our make up in this country but you can sometimes find in stuff from China or somewhere. I know if you want 100% safe you have to pay for it and even some of the expensive stuff isn't even the best but I think I would be more likely to try it from a trusted brand even though I rarely wear make up anymore. I don't want to spend a lot because I might put on make up once or twice a year just to feel pretty and not as homely looking like I normally do.

@@TheOfficialTarynTots Here's the thing. This country allows some awful stuff in their products that other countries don't. So I wouldn't remotely automatically think something is safe just because it's allowed here.
Years ago on one of the 'magazine' type shows they showed how a lot of the makeup items were formerly sold from stores such as Walmart and were old stock that was repackaged. If you buy make sure to check they don't look like they could have been opened before and they also appear fresh.
Dollar Tree potholders/mitts do not protect from heat. At all. Buy something better. You're welcome.
Most of the products are
warning 💯 cause cancer and cause reproductive harm California prop 65 on toiletries and person goods.
Be sure and look up ingredients and chemicals
And always buy cotton ones. Polyester is slippery and a synthetic fabric that also melts.
I use the DT plant brackets as curtain rod holders for the outdoor curtains
Those clear bins are great for craft room storage!!

In #8, those felt pads... I use those on the corners of my kitchen cabinets so they won't slam so hard and loud. You can also use them on your walls so the doorknobs won't make holes in them.

I have the betty crocker ones from dollar tree that I have had for many years.. the new ones are nice and heavy.. i need to get a back up.. i use the pre cut parchment papers for burgers to store in the freezer.. i use the hamburger patty maker from dollar tree as well.. :o)
Oh, I recently found a complete Xmas dinner wear set in my garage in a dollar tree bag. Never used and still had the receipt in it....from January 2021! And everything was $1. Ahh..the good ol days when America was still great!😂

I got a couple of the little rope baskets with black at the top right after Christmas and I love them! One for my keys by the door. The second one by my bed for all the various cords that charge different devices, rolled and tied closed with bakers twine and a tag to say what the cord is for. It looks a lot better than the wad of cords I had in my drawer!
Some good finds except for the pot holders aren't good protection with hot pans imo.
I bet they offer silicone ones soon. Finding them may be the issue though.

Please be careful when using Dollar Tree hair dye! I’ve been coloring my hair for the past 6 years and never had any reactions to box dye until I used a Dollar Tree hair dye a few months ago. I felt tingling immediately, which became burning within a few minutes. I quickly washed it out and luckily didn’t have any visible damage other than some redness, but I don’t even want to think about what would’ve happened if I’d kept applying it all over and left it on longer. Yikes!!!
I've used it. Nothing happened to my hair. But then again, each person is different. I've been using it for over a year now.

Metal/ wire shelf, racks are great space savers. I use them for my shoe cabinet and even a few on my countertop for fruit and bread. Really awesome space saver👍

I don't know where your Dollar Tree is Deal Guy, but I haven't seen anything that adorable at my local DT in Harlem. I did visit my daughter in South Carolina for Thanksgiving this year and her local DT’s in-stock items were so Awesome she had to take me there several times before we left She even said “Wow Ma to you the Dollar Store is a tourist attraction”.😀😀😀👍🏾
NO garden stuff yet in sunny Central California where we normally start planting out in early March. My closest DT got zero seeds last year. If you find seeds buy extra and store properly for next year. FYI many online seed sellers are already sold out for the season on more popular varieties. With increasing food prices there are a lot of newbie gardeners out there.

I’ve had that pill organizer for well over a year. I have 2 of them. One for my morning meds and one for my evening meds. I love them cause I sort everything out and have my meds set up for 3 weeks. Very convenient.

The hydro boost dupe is nothing compared to the Neutrogena! It’s so watery. I got it in hopes it would work but it was a big fail. I would say pass on it and get the real thing. The Neutrogena hydro boost is the only thing that helps me with dry skin.

Hi everyone, I just got rid of ALL my cloth type pot holders for the same reasson as mattw said in the comments. I got a silicone glove set at Aldi on a reduced rack for $6 and I will have those forever. I don't feel any heat and the grip is great! No more burns on my arms from the rack above or below on the over either. Thank you for all your suggestions and taking time to show us demos on some. Keep up the good work!
