  • Part 3 here: • 2016 Asiawing XZ250RR ...
    After three days off roading in Manang, time to head back to Kathmandu from Pokhara on the Prithvi Highway. Nearly 200kms of (mostly) tarmac, so
    Certainly not the best bike for highway riding and not the most exciting road either. But nevertheless a chance to scare myself silly by throwing this bike and its knobbly tyres round some fast tarmac bends. But also a chance to give my final thoughts on the bike and wrap up this mini adventure.

    I come to your videos mostly to listen to your commentary ;). They're so damn cool,man. That gave me the reason to subscribe to your channel. Your ride damn good as well. And next time(if you're coming here in Nepal), try to find 2017NS200, Pulsar RS200(faired pulsar) and recently launched Dominar(first 400CC bike from Bajaj). I felt like you were not really enjoying Pulsars' ride so the new Bajaj two wheelers might impress you.

      Thanks. I'm glad you like the vids. I have been a little critical of pulsars in the past, but that's mainly just because i find them so uncomfortable. The NS is a little more comfy, but still uncomfortable for me. I do quite like the Pulsar engines though. But overall, i'd still pick an Apache 200 ;)

      Bennie Hitchcock haha yeah Apache rtr200 is a great bike but the Dominar is a great comfy bike with enough juice for our roads. They're provided with fat rear and front tyres which will help you boost confidence in the corners. Its on the heavy side though(182kg dry weight). And the 2017 NS200 is gem. May be you would love to check em out. But by then, there will be other great bikes like Duke 250,Duke 390, Yamaha FZ25 and hopefully TVS Akula 300. These are all upcoming bikes here.

    Hi Bennie (aka Guy Martin in my head. haha). Thanks for vlog. I've been to Nepal once (KTM & Pokhara), for 7 days early November 2016, and agree totally. It's the people of Nepal, and scenery, that make this place magical. Everyone i met there felt like an instant friend. Worth a visit and time spent. Hope to return one day... and this time ride a motorbike! Did i see where you may review the Himalayan? I am curious about that bike. Anyway thanks again. Have fun!

      Thanks. Glad you like the vids. Shame I didn't spend any more time in Pokhara. Love that place. I'm heading back in a few months though ;) I'm glad you reminded me about the Himalayan. I'd almost forgotten about that! I'll try and get that vid done when I have time.

      I was getting less than 20km per litre. Only a 9L fuel tank though, so you have to fill up every 100kms or so if you're riding hard.

    duke 390 or this?

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  6 років тому

      John Pun I would only buy the Crossfire if i planned to ride hard off road. On the tarmac its pretty useless compared to the duke 390

    Crossfire xz250rr or ktm duke 250?

    • @benniehitchcock

      RD Shrestha Two completely different bikes. Can't even compare them really

    • @RDxx77
      @RDxx77 7 років тому

      Bennie Hitchcock Yeah.. I am just so confused. Should i buy a dirt bike or a naked sport.

    • @benniehitchcock
      @benniehitchcock  7 років тому

      I would only buy the crossfire if you plan to do a lot of off road riding. Otherwise the Duke will be much easier to live with everyday. More comfy too

    • @RDxx77
      @RDxx77 7 років тому

      Bennie Hitchcock Yeah. I don't really plan on doing off road riding alot. Just the usual valley and highway rides.

    • @RDxx77
      @RDxx77 7 років тому

      Bennie Hitchcock Thanks though. I might go for Duke even though i have to wait almost 4-5 months

    Bennie mate these bikes are overly overly stupidly priced in Nepal, plus the bike don't last that long...........fuking quality ,Nepali time mate
