Amazing automobile! I owned a 94 Miata and 94 rx7. I built a race rotary "2 rotor" which at the time regretted not doing 3 rotors! But boy was my stock Miata fun. Imagine a rotary in it🤓, but if you ask me I rather stick with stock unless you want to... which again I wouldn't recommend! Have fun. Maybe 5 legal pounds of boost would be ok but I would rather wait a year or couple for prices to depreciate. Personal opinion best/funnest car to buy
Gorgeous car I'm obsessed with, and you missed: * storage behind seats * size of trunk in liters - unless someone really understands cubic feet? * trunk button outside * stupidity of cup holder placement * stupidity of the input dial position especially if you're shifting * android Auto / Apple CarPlay is coming next model year * pillars cause real blind spots * tire options and better choice than stock tires - I worry about those things on rough roads Thanks.
Third way to open trunk….a button under the rear badge. Also, the car will audibly warn you if your speeding and if there is a red light camera ahead. Love you video! I win a ‘17 LAUNCH EDITION
Also…..storage compartment behind passenger seat, lighter port under dash on the passenger side. Foot rest on left side, near the clutch. Under knee adjustment, drivers’ side. Portable air pump included in trunk. No spare tire.
From a mazda3 owner, Mazda's fuel economy monitor is ridiculously inaccurate lol! But they make great cars and good fuel economy overall so I'm not complaining :)
Yeah because I do a lot of city driving (in traffic) in a major metropolitan area, my average is barely 23.5mpg unfortunately. But honestly it's still not bad for a quick sports car like this.
Hey I had a 2017 FIAT Abarth and I have also owned an NC Miata.. they Abarth had a lot going for it but it did not rotate as much as my 2012 NC and the turbo engine has a lot of lag and is not as direct. These two issues caused me to trade in the Abarth as my old Miata was funner. The ND is better than the NC so.. I would suggest you get the NC. I plan to get an RF and trade in my 2016 Camaro SS.. I miss the "fun" car.

too bad the interior kinda sucks..I mean they don't even give u a option for a back up camera or other cool tech features. I mean it's a small car but it's nice to have especially with that shitty rear window
I've been getting 40+mpg with my 2017 RF GT. I put over 1k miles and filled up maybe 5 times. Absolutely love my mx5.

A proper review should include an actual MPG calculation and don't quote the computer reading which could be rigged.

Yeah I installed a back-up camera on mine. Rear visibility is somewhat difficult even with the top down
I also install one on my mx5. You can pick one up on e-bay for about $150 and it took about an hour and a half to install.
