First we made a virgin Pina Colada recipe. Only two ingredients:
1 x scooped out pineapple
1/4 cup coconut cream
How to grow a pineapple plant from home?
First, twist the top of the pineapple off. Remove some of the leaves and place in a glass jar with water. When the roots start to grow after a few weeks. Transfer to soil that drains easily. Sandy soil. Soil such as a Bromeliad or Cactus Potting Soil mixed with a third perlite. An eight-inch porous clay pot with bottom drainage is ideal. Layer about two inches of stones in the bottom of the pot prior to putting in the soil/perlite mix.
