Just by this action where he scores an offensive rebound, you can see how amazing of a court vision MJ has, dodging the players before getting in the best place under the rim. I can see why Jalen is frustrated, as he wasn't able to guard MJ. Even with dwindling athleticism, he executes the evading tactic like he's still a youth!

Yes he did. He did it in the press and even went to the league office. The most influential player I’ve ever witnessed on officiating.
They were down 0-2 to the Knicks in 1993 and he said calmly in the postgame press conference and confidently said “the officiating is going to change” Phil Jackson joined in too and they did nothing but complain before the series moved to Chicago.

Jordan still had a lot of game on Wizards. Not the same hops but he had so many other tools it didn’t matter. I read that at age 40 he was averaging 25-27 ppg for a a stretch over 20 plus games until he hurt his knee. That’s why he ended the season with about 20 ppg but he played every game and less minutes. So think about this. Rules started changing during this time he was on Wizards and even more so right after he left. Game was just beginning to be less physical. So an older MJ could still score well imagine a prime Jordan today with teams averaging 117. He was averaging over 30 with team scoring 96

Mike was underrated in his ability to move without the ball. Watch his footwork to wriggle his way in and get key rebounds. You could be having a great game against him, as Jalen was, and forget the little things, the fundamentals. Jordan got the win because he kept his head and didn't allow Jalen to get under his skin. That's just one of the things that made MJ the GOAT.

He might of remembered a few things wrong too (very distinct possibility), but in 1998 Indiana was only team that took them to a game 7 play off.
