People are two black and white about the grip vs drift techniques this is a perfect example of how a mix between the two can be so mutch faster
Finn Delves I have been actually trying to get my car to do that. I just can’t find the right tires to do it. Or the Setup, My FC is already as fast as it is, but I just can’t get close enough to it.

that is some pretty godlike footwork. never played ac, so i cant really say anything about the steering or how sideways you actually were in most corners. but the huge amount of attention and effort given to that throttle pedal is amazing in itself
ac prides themselves on being the most accurate feeling game. wheel wise and handling
This was completely insane, i didn’t know that a run could look so perfect. Nearly every line was perfect and the control of the steering wheel was crazy! I’m still a beginner in AC, but this gives me a lot of motivation.

AE86 is one of the best cars to learn how to drive and how the car reacts. My 10 y.o. nephew can do sub 5:30 on Akina downhill in tuned AE86 on my G29 wheel with H-shifter.
I know sub 5:30 it's not a perfect lap on Akina downhill but he's 10 y.o. ffs

By any means could you upload a video showing the tune you use for the AE86 Tuned to run it on the touge? I can't find a balance in that car, it's either massively understeery or really oversteery, and i'm thinking that there might be a setting that fixes that but as of now i haven't found anything yet.

That's a really good lap. I can drive like that, but not the whole lap. Really great job entering most corners with all 4 tires sliding equally. Don't see driving like that often!
I noticed you don't use the shortest gears. Better timing in the twisty sections, and no need to shift up in some parts. Very smart. Are you on stock setup or a custom one?

Lowered tire pressure and increased front camber a little bit.
Stock setup seems pretty good for springs. Myself, I need a custom setup to really go fast comfortably.

Many many hours. In Assetto Corsa I am over 2000 hours now. And I am driving racing simulations for about 14 years now.

Bouwer2100 well on most part grip is still faster, drifting is the fastest way to through a hairpin though
Ivan Wong depends on the size of the hairpin and how much the ar can grip tho
that car loves to swing that trail though. holy shit. you have to be so gentle with the throttle

2:28, I didn't know you can drift all the way through that corner...
Is the best way to go through that corner because of the speed you are carrying between the chicanes. The rear wants to go out but with the steering and a little throttle you can control it easy. Give it a try!

Wie pixelig ist es eigentlich wirklich mit der VR? Noch auszuhalten mit einer 1060 OC ? Bin am überlegen mir eine zu kaufen, bin mir aber unsicher was Feeling und Auflösung angeht, und ob man mit der Zeit mit der Action die schlechte Auflösung einfach ignoriert. 600 Euro will ich schon nicht umsonst ausgeben :D
Ich nutze ne GTX970. Die Auflösung ist zu Beginn schon gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber nach einer gewissen Zeit fällt die schlechtere Auflösung kaum mehr auf. Und der Gewinn an Feeling und 3D ist der Wahnsinn. Ich bin seit dem ich die Rift nutze nicht mehr am Monitor gefahren. :D

Manpal Bajwa It is a mod you have to download. But if you want to buy the PC version, you will be able to play these tracks. It is very simple to install them.

I used to think project cars was better. But after seeing that i can deja vu in assetto corsa, now i must say "PROJECT CARS SUCKS!" Now it is time I save up 40 bucks to get the assetto corsa ultimate edition bundle, and drive like takumi!
