Great to see the Band back together after their 8 year break. And above all it's great to see Dee Murray back and having so much fun. R.I.P Dee Murray. Speaking of having passed, this song was very timely for my first love's nuptials that Summer. Glad it turned out that way and that we didn't marry.
Well she looked a peach in the dress she made When she was still her mama's little girl And when she walked down the aisle everybody smiled At her innocence and curls And when the preacher said is there anyone here Got a reason why they shouldn't wed I should have stuck up my hand I should have got up to stand And this is what I should have said I wanna kiss the bride yeah! I wanna kiss the bride yeah! Long before she met him She was mine, mine, mine Don't say I do Say bye, bye, bye And let me kiss the bride yeah! Underneath her veil I could see a tear Trickling down her pretty face And when she slipped on the ring I knew everything would never be the same again But if the groom would have known He'd have had a fit About his wife and the things we did And what I planned to say Yeah on her wedding day Well I thought it but I kept it hid
@@ollieciaran4541 Apparently Elton saw footage of this show and it was an eye-opener to him just how much coke he was doing. The nose wiping and dilated pupils in this show, not to mention the speed of some of the songs, leave no doubt. He only got clean in the beginning of the 1990's, though. I think it's incredible either way - some of his best live performances captured here. We need this released in HD.
he hit his knee when he jumped. if you look at how he is sitting there is not that much room between his knee and where the board under the keys is. Ive done that before and that hurts so bad.
what a great live version
Sir Elton 🎉😊rock,n roll Royalty, god bless you 🙏.
What a bass player Dee Murray was. Miss him.
Love the sound of his bass guitar as well.
Me too

What a way to spend a Saturday night - video heaven - Elton at Wembley 1984. What a mind-blowing concert!!!!!! Wish I'd been there.
When you see Elton's eye's looking to the back of the stage constantly, you know he is about to erupt!
AWESOME LIVE VERSION!
What a fun time in life.

I think he requested a line a coke at 0:41 when he looked away and put his left hand near his nose.
Michael David this is post rehab isn’t it?
@@ollieciaran4541 Pre rehab. 6 years before he checked in.
Michael David fuck look at me getting my history wrong 😂

@@NicoleKrawczyk Couldn't agree more. The only song that stayed at correct tempo on this show was Too Low For Zero as a drum machine was used.
Wow, show at its finest
Sir Elton John ... Us SaskatoneianzzzzFrum Saskatchewan Canada just seriously thank you
Love watching Nigel Olsen attack the drums on this on
Coked up Elton John is the best
I luv u Uncle Eltie!
Something went wrong? You can see Elton mouthing "son of a mddfkking bbbbitttttssshhhh!" or something, during the second chorus.
you can clearly hear that he fell back on the wrong keys when he jumped
Diego Reinstettel
Elton doesn't make mistakes.
Just happy little accidents.
Diego Reinstettel
Elton isn't happy.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prefer this to the studio version
Because we hear more the melody of the piano.
Great Version but almost double speed
Not many songs he did live in the 80's was at correct speed. It was even faster than this at Sydney 1984.
What kind of piano is that? Concert Grand?
Steinway
Steinway D? Helpinstill pickups
It’s for sure a 9 footer
@@andrewgray3874 He only plays 9 or more
I wish this was the video for the studio version instead of that junkyard motorcycle nonsense.
Who is playing the organ?
Fred Mandel Queens former touring keyboardist
thats the only wrong note in a 50 year career...not bad!
