Outstanding review I do own the Esee Izula in 440C I edc this small fixed blade and actually really enjoy it. The edge is however a little thick for slicing tasks but it adds to a tough edge for battonning if the need be. They make them in s35vn and ever since then my 1095 pot metal one is just not the same. I now feel it is inadequate for all purposes since the thought of having a stainless version. . .should have always been made with stainless. No knife should rust. Not from daily use.
Pot metal he days lmao 🤣 😂 when done right 1095 is one tough carbon steel and preferred by many...
I would like to see the izula have a somewhat thinner edge- even in s35vn, but that would mean esee types would be breaking them more often i reckon.
(I count myself an esee type lol)
Fwiw, i have carried uncoated esee's everyday through sweat and swimming and everything- it just takes some good patina.
Jeez before the 1900s all knives rusted.....
Take care of them and use them and they don't rust at all. I have tons of knives and multitools never had a rust problem EVER. And I live in Canada near the ocean use them near saltwater aswell so what's your excuse???
@@BePrepared1992 You live in Vancouver or something and you probably only go outside during one of the 70 nice days a year, lol.
“Near salt water” lol. Unless you’re actually in the water/on a boat/fishing with it nobody cares that you’re near the coast it makes no difference.
Bro said “i murdered my mother in law” and I bought it
What!? Haha
🥇👍
I like ESEE knives a lot, just don’t have any yet lol. Bought Becker knives back in the day because they were cheaper.
Me too!
👍🏼
Tops totally suck... I wouldn't accept one if it was free.
Wtf are you even talking about “ relevant “ ???? I don’t get it
That's kind of what the video explains
