I really like this redesign. GM has been killing it design wise lately inside and out. If only they offered a fast powertrain option in their vehicles.
the new design language to me don't suit best with the proportion, i looks like a tall and long minivan from the front three quarters, and don't forget reliability too, seems something that GM and Ford tends to forget
@ezrapardede1921 That's subjective. Buick is usually at average or slightly above in terms of reliability (which us weird because chevy, gmc, and Cadillac all share components). That plus 99.9% of the time you will get more money off the hood compared to the competition so that's a gamble I'm willing to take.
You "had almost forgotten that Buick was in business..." ?!?!? What the?!? Didn't you recently do a feature on the Envista when it came out?!?!? You're a CAR guy, fercryinoutloud! Buick sales have been way up.
I disagree about the front end, I think all around the new one looks better. Looks like an attractive car that someone would actually want not something someone would settle for…
I like the new design overall but i do prefer the old one's front. The new front is nondescript, generic and derivative. The old one had some character and identity. The new front could be a Kia, Hyundai, Jeep, Citroën, etc.
@@mr_hobbit they should just make Buick for China and leave the US market with Cadillac. They're too close in price and features these days. I'd even take a high end Chevy over a Buick
It’s funny you mentioned you almost forgot Buick was still around. I did too! I thought they were only in China nowadays. The new designs are a massive step forward, but GM has to invest in some major marketing to reintroduce Buick to consumers. Buick is not top of mind, or even middle of mind, for most consumers. 🤔
I am a 2015 Buick Enclave owner, and it is a really reliable vehicle. No real issues besides various sensors going bad, and I still get compliments. I'm not a fan of the front of the brand new Enclave, but everything else looks great.
General Motors is absolutely killing it recently, same as Ford. It's funny, Stellantis was cutting edge when the merger occured and it has rapidly been overtaken.
I am a toyota person, but I love this design (apart from gear shifting not being traditional). It's also more car seat friendly with how their seats move. Only thing is its not hybrid yet, and it looks like they don't have their sage green option! So close, buick.
I’ve had the 2018 since 2018, 113,000 miles later... It was the previous design before the facelift in this video. I plan on getting the new one, not totally a fan of the design, looks basic where the old one looked art deco (if that makes sense). All of that said mine has been a great roadtrip car, and a great daily driver, I’ve had jobs with an hour commute and now a job driving into a large city daily, Buick did a great job, 0 issues mechanically.
I actually prefer the greenhouse of the old model. It looks sleeker and cleaner. The rear door window pillar of the new model looks dated. The blacked out window trim makes the greenhouse profile look too tall. The new model in white with the chrome window trim and tinted windows makes it look more finished and better overall compared to the one in red with the blacked out window trim which makes it look more generic and emphasizes the not so attractive window pillar on the rear rear doors. Everything else on the new model looks nice and a big improvement.
The old model could have looked really cool. If they took that design and simplified it a bit, added a light bar, and horizontal grill, and removed a few weird lines the result could have been very sleek. I don't like the new vehicle design of "capable and boxy".
Beautiful vehicle! GM / Buick knocked it out of the park with this. Turbo 4 will have great low end torque vs former V6. Therefore no need for 9 speeds. Significantly improves driveability.
Eh, not really. It just looks like a big suv. None of the graphics are similar - this car just lacks strong identity so it’s easy to read other designs into it. The overall proportions are similar because they are the same class of vehicle, but the design is much different.
@@Quinton0520It looks like a lot of other cars, everyone says. But when you say that, it kinda denigrates the design work it took to bring this to life.
IMO, The Turbo 4 is a non starter, the refinement, smoothness, noise levels and delivery of power are not in the same league as the V6, ask 2023-24 Toyota Highlander owners what they think.
It looks good but I think the drls on the previous version look better. I don’t know why they made them smaller on such a large car. Also I think the Buick logo in the front grill would look a lot better and break it up a little. I’m really liking the looks of these Buicks lately
I love the redesign. My only nitpick is all the shiny black plastic on an interior that is primarily white and navy - that's just weird. The interior of the Avenir also has gold AND silver accents - that's gross.
hello I love your design remakes and the chanell all about it .... got a suggestion I would loved to see your review on this one fv frangivento asfane ,,, it looks really unique to me and to be honest a bit overdesigned too much happening in the back ...maybe a bit more clean and it would be better ... loved to see you idea how you would redesign this unique car ... thanks in forward and have a nice sunday . Greetings from slovakia .
I don’t know… it’s not an objectively bad design… there’s good line flow and proportions… but it lacks personality, and I can’t tell it’s a Buick. Definitely feels more Chinese market focused design and more of a tech appliance feel than car.
Did you just cuss about the design of this Buick. You shouldn't have said that it looks like a Ferd, , if it were that it would only be 15 % American parts this Buick is 57% and I dont think that Ford f150 is only 32% American parts Navigator 110,000.00 $ and 22% American parts rest China not even N. American. 😢😢😢

Is it just me or ist this one of the most beautifull rear ends on a suv ever? And the display is in the shape of the front grill thats pretty sick!
This is the best looking redesign out of the Traverse and Acadia
the interior actually looks good. Not boring like a chevy or GMC or Cadillac copy+paste.

Nice design, but serious question. Who is actually buying new Buicks these days when you can get a Cadillac for almost the same price?
Buick rlly popular in China so they trying to apply what they did to the US aswell.

Wow. Another exciting new SUV. I can't find the words to express the joy in my heart.
Honestly I kind of think this looks more like a minivan. The current one looks like a Toyota Highlander

Buick never fully redesigned the Enclave until now, it felt like the design kept the same DNA since 2008 and I really respected that

You say the front fascia screams Ford on the new one but I'm seeing a Toyota Raiz here.
Will you make a video on the Genesis Neolun concept? Interested to hear what you think

I’m surprised Buick doesn’t have a tahoe or Escalade vehicle

It looks like a Ford Edge mated with a RAV4 to me
The headrests in the 2nd row look too small for the seat.
Less minivan CUV-looking design and more traditional CUV-looking design will help the new-gen Enclave sales

Buick needs to electrify its vehicles, if it wants to appeal to youth. The Enclave is an ideal first candidate for hybridization.
