in case a person is watching this while shopping like me 😂
Thanks Melissa, One of my first videos and a bit too detailed and long, but maybe someone will want that.
hahaha, very helpful. Thanks a lot.
Thx
Thick very useful
So REALLY starts at 31:00 !! But useful info before that =]
Guess what? Theraband advertises that you can use Biofreeze over their tape for your cyro/heat therapy!! It works. THanks for the video. VERY helpful!
Thank you for the tip! That sounds like a great combo!
Great vid!! Very helpful!
Thanks! I'll be adding more videos soon on taping for specific body parts and issues.
I got the precut KT tape in the color pink. It was $10 at the grocery store. I somehow pulled a muscle in the bend of my elbow crease. I do not know how because it was so fast that it happened. I had to cut the tape because it was too long for my arm. I put the tape at the start of my muscle pain and ran the tape down my arm to my wrist. Because my instructions in the box didn’t say anything about arms. So I looked at the human diagram of the different places to put the tape. Online says can leave on for 3-5 days depending on the placement of the tape. I never used KT tape before so I don’t really know how it works or much about it other than it’s for muscle and joint pain.
I'm trying to find a cheap generic on Amazon... Do you have a specific one you are using?
So how do I font the no name
Hey there, fantastic vid. Could you post a link for the CE tape, please? Or is it the cheap k tape which you provided a link for? The link shows a product which looks different. Cheers!
KinesioTex is the one created by Dr Kenso back in the 70s. Was the original Kinesio Tape
Hi, what is the most resistant against heat and sweat?
The one that is the ultimate for stickiness is Rock Tape H20. It wasn't included in this test but it exists for use in aquatic sports and is also used to tape horses. It's extra sticky. Also Cleaning the surface before applying and waiting an hour before activity helps with the adhesion for all tapes. From the tapes in the video I trust Rocktape, Theraband brand, and K-tape. check out my other high end tape test to see more results
Northern Soul thank you for the answer!
Hi, has anyone heard of the brand Deilin?
I recently purchased a roll to try and test, I've been looking into KT tape in hope it could help my issue in my rib (right side to the rear) been seeing doctors atm, ot flares up and normally I go a year or two with no problems, then out the blue, I suffer an attack with no warning, feels like a bolt of lightning in my rib, atm doctors are thinking possible nerve inflammation or muscle tissue that gets inflamed,
So I've test tried a small piece of this tape and it's been on for 2 hrs, I'm concerned about allergic reaction, So I hope someone out there has had experience with this particular brand or can give me some advice which is safest to use, thank you in advance, and thanks to the host for your great video's on this topic 👍
You can use the tape as you said, few days (3-5 days) then without about the same amount then reapply again, probably indefinitely, or hopefully until real treatment or it heals. This is not medical advice, but many things can cause nerve issues in rib area, and it can stem from different points. You may find relief by looking into chiropractic if nerve root impingement from vertebrae, massage therapy for muscle imbalance causing trigger point pain or again nerve root irritation, osteopath, for fascial work regarding resistance and scar tissue on nerve in the area. Also tradition Chinese acupuncture may help.
@@NorthernSoul Thank you so much for your reply!
I was hoping that I could use this tape for the longer term, and makes perfect sense what you say, so thank you 👍👍
My GP is looking into those different possibilities for help, so at least I can get back to some normality.
Again thank you for your very helpful videos and information, I like the way you present them, no jargon!
Thank you and wish you all the best!
tbh I just get superband kt tape from the dollar store... works fine
I have another video which tests dollar store tape and it works as you said for basic use. there is limitations where you might consider a branded tape though
What about using a heated tape in part, and the cheaper tape where the heat won't help?
Absolutely! That's how I would use it getting the most value from that relatively more expensive tape than non heated tape. Great Idea!
Way to much bla bla bla ....get to the facts ONLY
nope
Tried to watch, No help, & 2 long
