@@twixxtro dude thanks for the comment same for me my pump and fan was in pwm changed it to dc and the sounds became so much quiter, just have to figure more out that when i start chrome the fans do not got full jet
Thanks for your post for dc fan speed control. I was about to buy additional pwm hub and fans but just learned my mainboard has feature to control dc fan' speed!
I have a msi b650 tomahawk coupled with a 7600x and noctua nh-u12a and the cpu fans are maxed out at 2000rpm no matter what I do. Temps are high 20's to mid 30's and this still happens
What is with the RPM range? The scale is way higher than fans spin. Is there supposed to be a decimal point, or what? A fan at 13,500 RPM would sound like a jet engine and self destruct.
Help me please. How i can control fan on Msi notebook. BIOS Is not same of desktop. Msi center not work and can control fan only in Extreme perfomance and i not want use Extreme performance
For me it shows all fans are maxed out in rpms (i only have 4 in total) but hey all appear maxed out and temp is at 60c for all of then what can i do to debug my bios
Hello, in the 12 volt system I get that I use 12.120 and in the 5 volt system I get that I use 5.030. ¿ Is there a solution to put in the system that only uses 12 and 5 volts exactly?
What if you plugged the older 2 pin fan into the motherboard? Would you be able to control the fan curve? I knew the motherboard wouldn't be able to read the fan RPM, but theoretically It should work if you chose the "DC" mode instead of "PWM" mode and You chose the "CPU" as the temperature source.
How would I know which sys fan ports are visible in bios for rpm adjustment? Using msi x670 wifi pro ddr5. Trying to decide if I need to use a fan hub or?
Will my pc automatically increase fan speeds when my cpu gets hot? I was stress testing my cpu and it spikes to 96c within 10 seconds? I think this is due to my cpu fan not increasing or changing its speed at all? Or not properly mounted on the cpu? I have it screwed down on the motherboard as far as it goes though.. and I spread out the paste to cover the surface of the cpu
A lot of benchmark/stress tool will push CPU temperature very high instantly such as prime 95 small FFT. And yes, when CPU is hot, fan spins faster according to your fan curve.
If I have a lian li controller connecting all my fans, do I have do use their software to change this? Or just msi bios? Cause none of my fans show up here except my aio pump
omg tysm!! my pc was emitting sounds of airplane jets before this 😭
LITERALLY SAME.. i just got my first custom build and the fans were engine sounds 😭 finally fixed it
SAME, I was pissed from hearing the damn jet engine for so long, finally when I watch movies it doesn’t sound like I’m near a tornado
it was the 3 pin on pwm for me😭

Owned a MSI board for 2 years and didn't know a lot of these things, thanks for the explanation.
Surprised there arent more views than this, very helpful. Thank you

Thanks man I solved my problem with high speed fan , I switch to DC mode and ok now
short, precise, informative.
Perfect :)
doesnt even work lol
excellent explanation, exactly what I needed to know, thank you!
Thank you so much, finally got rid of the engine sounds and I have a quiet PC now!
How i didnt understand him
@@CosmicCosmo1 you have to adjust the fan curve there to a certain degree so it can keep the cpu cool

My CPU Fan is constants 2400 RPM but temp sits at around 29-31 - It doesn’t change with these settings and is way too loud, any ideas?
My cpu isn't hot and the fans are at 2100 rpm. Some of the fans show 0 rpm but are running

This was so handy thank you !!
I just tried this and saved from advanced mode as said in the vid and now my PC wont even post. Is there any fix for this?
is cpu socket and core the same thing, i dont have socket option?
Ho una MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB, madre msi 610m-g. No capisco se mettere dal bios PWM o DC???

yeah probably 😁
How would I know which sys fan ports are visible in bios for rpm adjustment? Using msi x670 wifi pro ddr5. Trying to decide if I need to use a fan hub or?
you can change fan rpm for any onboard fan header in BIOS
@@tiredhamster8437 nice! I wont use my fractal cases fan hub then, no point

Same and cant actually control fan speeds in li lian controller
@@mikepackham5260 yeah I think you have to set a it in the bios, at least that’s what I had to do to control all fans,
Большое спасибо за советы. Можете скинуть свои параметры которые установлены у вас на вентиляторах ?
Why am I unable to customize the fan curve on mine? I have a msi b550m mag mortar, and darkflash case fans
better check if you set the correct fan mode (PWM = 4 pin fan, DC = 3 pin fan)
Did you enabled Smart Fan Mode? (small check over the graph)
Is it possible to control an AIO that only connects to motherboard USB (and SATA power) with BIOS? Or is it mandatory to use manufacturer’s software?
BIOS only handles whatever on the motherboard pin header. For USB device, yeah you're stuck with manufacture software.
Z790 msi mobo doesnt rump up as the curve in bios help
my pump 1 says 0 RPM is there any fix for this i cant get it to show up in my system at all
Try upvolt fan header, different fan connector and mode (PWM, DC)
@@tiredhamster8437 thanks 🙏 will try that today
Can someone help? My system fans are all at 0 rpm, don’t know what to do
Friends iam from india
i have a problem
When i go to bios my cpu 1 rpm shows 0 😕
Will the bios fan control GPU temperatures too?
no. atleast not what he is doing in this video
Can I use this program if I don’t have any msi hardware
This is BIOS feature not software so you can't see this on other manufacture hardward
So you cannot make a curve for the aio pump beacause its dc?
you can, works the same
my bios show system fan 0rpm. why is that and how to fix
could be false reading due to compatiblity problem. or fan curve was set too low (below 40%)
@@tiredhamster8437 no. this is because my case fans are connected through molex and not at motherboard
@@KINGGAMING-nd8lehow did u fix? Mine are the same 0 rpm in system
@@MarcTheMessenger because they are not connected to mobo and will not be detected by BIOS. they are at max rpm by default. don't worry
@@KINGGAMING-nd8le how do i turn the fan speed down mine is detected at 0 rpm but is clearly running at max speed
Mine doesn't give me the option to change between PWM and DC
Some headers indeed support PWM or DC only, check manual for details!
thank you so much
what does ez led control do?
Disable on-board LED from BIOS!!
Thank you
Thank you, Mr. Bruce Lee.
I have nothing of them lol
the accent. i dont understand anything
why is my msi laptop bios not like that
Ive done this for my sys fan 1 but it keeps going back to DC even though its a PWM fan. What the heck is going on?
