Good video bro appreciate the tips. Was by Kelley's Island the other day 1st time using a worm harness didnt catch walleye but did catch cat fish😂 Better than nothing. Where do u be on lake Erie. Its that time again
Do you make your own harnesses? It looked to be a colorado blade on there, can you pull them any faster than the 1.5mph or should you switch to an indiana blade at that point?
I do make my own harnesses. I use a number 5 colorado blade the most. You can go faster, but the faster you troll, the more the weight will want to rise up. You can add more weight or run them behind something like a dipsy to keep them down.👍
I've fished by myself for over 50 years. In that time I've had my share of Accidents on the water. So , I know from first hand experience just how quick and easy things can go sideways. I agree 💯 A PFD is a good idea
Good info on how to do a crawler harness. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!👍
Great video!! Good tips

How do you know how much line to let out to get to a depth?

If you are out alone, you should have a floatation device on. Good video though.
The cameraman would have helped me out! 😂 thanks!

Where about S are you. I’m at the east end, not sure if there heading my way at all..
Western basin area. I launched out of Turtle Creek. 👍
Usually come east real soon here but shore catching early evenings have been okay
What rods are you using?
These are Cabelas depth masters. They have been rebranded now to Bass Pro depth masters. Model number DP-PB-86M-T
Ya lotta little
Fish anymore these past years miss the days of average 6-10lbs
Big walleye are far and few between anymore to many people fishing anymore fish don’t have a chance to grow
Planner boards suck.
I will never fish with boards. No skill is needed.
Location depth speed????
Western basin Lake Erie Ohio, 20ft-30ft of water, .8-1.5 mph 👍
@@TheJoelClements the east end of erie out of buffalo has been hit and miss mostly miss!!!
