This recipe mirrors one I have for chicken tetrazzini except that yours calls for cheese and is much easier to prepare. I will definitely try it this weekend. The salad looks like it has baby spinach, and, not to be repetitive, but I have a similar one that calls for spinach, mandarin oranges, nuts, golden raisins and red onion. Ironically, I always serve it with chicken tetrazzini. Thanks again, Linda (and Patty) for sharing another prize of a recipe.
Ohdarn, Isn't this one of the easiest casseroles you've ever seen? Just dump it all in and bake...I couldn't believe the simplicity of it and it's so delicious....Sam loves it. TFW and commenting. God Bless, Linda
Hi Glenda, I was so pleasantly surprised with my first bite of this casserole. It is so delicious. I don't use velveeta cheese in anything I cook as a rule, and surprised to know it was an ingredient...I thought "oh no" but...this is a very good casserole and so southern! It didn't surprise me Patty cooks with it. After all, she's a true southern belle! You have got to try this. It's good enough to serve to company and family and freezes well. TFW and commenting. God Bless, Linda
you must not like olives and that's ok but try to add something that will punch up the flavor....not that this is bland by any stretch of the imagination. It's just the olives added something....TFW and commenting and enjoy!!! God Bless, Linda
Hi Linda that casserole looks wonderful. Hope you are well. Please say a prayer for my mother if you pray, she suffered a stroke last Thursday and we almost lost her but she pulled through and is now recovering with some complications. Hopefully these will get better with time. She's ok thank goodness. ❤🙏🏼
Ange, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom.....I do pray, all the time and will pray for your Mom's good health. There's nothing that can compare to the power in prayer, nothing. The casserole is excellent and we all certainly enjoyed it. Patsy sent me home with the other entire casserole. I'm going to divide it and freeze a big part of it for later use. Take care my friend. YOU rest when you need it and take good care of yourself. Stress takes prisoners and reeks havoc on your health!! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I'll be praying for YOU as well. God Bless, Linda
***** thank you very much Linda I really appreciate it. She will be ok it will take time. Maybe I should make this and take it to her, she should enjoy it . ❤❤❤
Oohhhh my sweet lady!!! You did it again... Triple thumbs up!!! Thanks Ms. Patty for sharing... 😋😋😋😋... Oh... our sweet Sam.. It doesn't matter what he puts in his mouth, he will say wonders!!! God bless y'all!!! Until next time!!! Cheers from South Carolina!!!
Hey Marguina! You're going to love this dish....it's easy AND delicious. Try it and get back to me with your thoughts. TFW and commenting God Bless, Linda
Cindy, This was so delicious I hope you try it. I can't give a description detailed or good enough to suit it. I hope you try it and you'll make it again and again. TFW and commenting. God Bless Linda
Hello mbaa! I'll be making a video on the bread next week. Sam loves telling his corny jokes and most everyone gets a kick out of them, lol. TFW and commenting God Bless, Linda
this casserole looks delicious. I have to try to make it. it looks real easy. oh yum. I can taste it already. The load of bread came out beautiful what kind is it. Boy that Sam is a lucky guy.
Hi Jo Ann, the bread is just a simple bread and I'll do a video on it if you like. The recipe I have makes 2 loaves...perfect for us but you can double the ingredients and keep the extra dough in the fridge for a week or two. I sprinkled some sesame seeds on top before I baked it just to add some interest. The outside (of the bread) is crispy and the inside is moist and tender. It's a good recipe and takes 3 to 4 hours from start to finish....no 12 hour wait for the rising. TFW and commenting. God Bless, Linda
Patty, I can't begin to tell you what a great time we had! The casserole was delicious and I appreciate all the work you did to prepare for it and us. I hated my camera went haywire and none of the video of the house turned out but I was grateful the rest of it did although it was showing me I was farther out from the viewing , the camera was only picking up close shots. I've never had that happen before. Do you think the ghost was interfering? lol. I want to do a video of the outside and downstairs of the house. I know my subs would enjoy that. Some of them have told me they want to have you in more videos....you're becoming a celebrity!!! Without ANY fuss, would you show us how to make the no bake cherry pie sometime in the future? You said it was simple and Patty, it was so good, not sickening sweet. It was just the perfect dessert for that meal. Love to you and Terry and of course, Mrs. Hill God Bless
Let me know when you want to come back. I didn't think about a ghost but I have been told by past residents that they had a lot of unexplained electronic interference. I thought your salad and bread, which I am still enjoying, made a beautiful presentation and really were perfect with the Chicken Spaghetti. I will be looking forward to watching you make the bread.
Ms. Linda- Greetings from Michigan. I want to let you know that I enjoy your videos! This is one recipe that I am going to try! Keep them them coming... Happy Birthday, Sam. My birthday is February 23 also!
Thank you for telling me you enjoy my videos...I appreciate it so much. You'll like this recipe 'cause there's no disappointment in it at all. I'm picky about the food I video. If I don't or won't eat it, I won't share it. Sometimes, I have good weeks with making my picky food and other weeks I just don't have anything and I won't sink to showing just anything to put out a certain number of videos. I'm sorry I'm not more consistent. That's why there's inconsistency in the number of videos I put up every week....I hope you don't give up on me. If you're subscribed you can click on that bell by subscribe you'll be notified everytime I upload a new video and you won't have to look for them anymore...just a heads up! TFW and commenting! God Bless, Linda
Hi, Linda. That casserole looks beautiful. I can't decide what brand of Spaghetti I should use when making the casserole. Have a good day, Linda. God Bless!
hello there Mrs.Linda and nice to meet you Patty!😀 I grew up eating this casserole...bug meals for a big family was the name of the game and still is today with my own children. Thank you ladies for sharing you recipe with us...it was wonderful spending time in the kitchen with you 😀 many blessings ♡ Sam is always a hoot...Happy birthday Sam! what a great meal to share😄
Crystal, I've never heard of chicken spaghetti until Patty introduced me to it. It was wonderful (and fattening!) She sent the other casserole home with me. I'm going to freeze it in 1/3 containers. TFW and commenting. (You would love Patty & I hope to show more of her)....she is a true Southern Belle and lives like something that should have been in that movie "Gone With The Wind"....I'll video her home sometime if all of you would like to see it. Yes ma'am it is woderful..and stick to your ribs..momma always used this to fill us up good growing up..and to feed large crowds at the house or church. So glad you got to take some home and they freeze wonderful. I would love to see more of Patty if she is willing to be on here....now is she Sam's sister or yours..hope all is well with yall😍
Patty is Sam's younger sister but there is only 16 months between their ages. We love Patty and her husband Terry. They are so kind and gracious. You can tell they like to entertain and are great hosts. I want her to make that simple cherry pie that was so good. We had it for dessert, and I want all of you to see the inside of her beautiful " Gone With The Wind home!!"
How wonderful! They sound simply delightful! I thought about it later..and thought I hope that wasn't too personal a question to ask. We would love to share in her other recipes and their home. I'm telling you, I always learn something from your vidoes and just love your channel..forgot to mention your salad is delicious..and your bread looks amazing..sorry for rambling 😄
Crystal, your question wasn't too personal at all and if my camera hadn't been acting up you would have seen her beautiful home and known she is Sams sister...hope you try that salad...the dressing just puts it over the top. It's the best salad I've ever eaten! I don't mind your rambling, I'm a rambler myself, LOL!!
Hi Jo, You won't be disappointed in this casserole. I'd never heard of it or knew it existed but I do know I'll be making it again. It was delicious! TFW and commenting.....Sam and his corny jokes and at the dinner table at that!! TFW and commenting. God Bless, Linda

This is excellent....that's all I can say and if you make enough to freeze you'll have another meal in the freezer for a later time when you don't feel like cooking!! TFW God Bless, Linda
Hi Patti....I'm sorry this video turned out so badly. My camera had a mind of it's own filming this. The viewer would show a long shot and when viewed the shot was way too close. Patty said that has happened before in this house....scary!!! TFW and commenting God Bless, Linda

Allan, I hope this finds you completely recovered from the flu! This is such a tasty casserole all dumped in together that makes it a dream to fix and I hope you'll try it. The lady I was cooking with is Sams younger sister Patty. She has a similar personality and the two of them are fun to be with. I told Sam you said he was a comedy genius and he said to tell you he appreciates the compliment. As always, thanks for watching and commenting. Love and friendship, Linda
Linda, did I hear Patty say that this dish can be frozen? A 9x13 pan is big for just two, but I don’t want to mess with cutting down the recipe the first time I make it. Thanks. 😊

Hello Linda! Hello Patty! I'm late seeing your videos, as we have had company for 5 days. Gosh, what an amazing casserole. It even has black olives, one of my faves. Jeff grew up on casseroles, I didn't. I grew up on Mediterranean dishes and meals similar to engagement chicken. When I make a casserole for Jeff, his eyes light up. Most of the ones that his dad prepared (he was the chief cook), were not as flavourful as this. This casserole is special. I actually make that mandarin and slivered almond spinach salad often, with a homemade poppyseed dressing. Looks like you all had fun in this video. It was definitely fun to watch and listen to your little little lovely southern voices! 💚 99.99999% that I'll be making this casserole.
Patty gave me the extra 9 x 13 casserole to take home. I was going to freeze it in 1/3 lots....but it stayed in the fridge and we ate it in 4 days. It really is good and Jeff will love it. You grew up on much healthier meals and I grew up eating a lot of meals that included spaghetti....a casserole is a good change of pace and everyone will love this one! God Bless my friend!!!
I plan to double the recipe and freeze them. There are just so many components to this recipe that I love, and we all need comfort food. My mom has always done yoga. At almost 84, she can still twist herself into a pretzel and hold for a long time. There was a LONG phase she went through in the mid 70's, where all our food was vegan. We were starving. Lol. Way before it was popular, my mom made a "meatless loaf" out of tofu, wheat germ, pumpkin seeds, and some other unsavoury things. It's was Monday Meatless Loaf. Other kids had their bologna sandwiches with cheese slices on white wonder bread. I had this horrible, dense, rye bread with lots of seeds in it, and that eggplant spread calked Baba ganush (which I love today). The only thing that saved me from ridicule, was that I was the only kid at school with a Bionic Woman lunch box and thermos. Everyone was jealous of that. Sending positive vibes and blessings your way...
