- ......Were Robots of course! Very energetic concert here, the sound is so good, and the guys put on one hell of a show here.
Love the Police getup, and Trevor in his beautiful Swiss Miss outfit! Even that wig starts getting quite messy!
Live from London, England at the Astoria on September 8, 2000.
trey spruance wrote this entire song
And that is why he is a god
My favorite lyrics & music all wrapped into one masterpiece.
surf-circus-funk-metal
Badass performance. Dunn & Patton are not of this Earth. Insane drummer, too.
and guitarist/songwriter
this band is so much better than every other band.
definitely the best song ever recorded
Sure do miss Bungle. I remember when their 1st "major" album came out on Warner. Summer of '91, Hawaii, a buddy got me the cassette(!) from the only shop on the island that had it; remember having to "get used" to some of the tempo/arrangement changes of songs from OU818 since I had listened that demo into the ground. Just finished the semester at HSU, music classes (and jamming) with Trevor and Trey; convinced when I came back to the mainland that they were going to fucking RULE the airwaves.
Such a nostagic story, tnx, < 3 :))
Mike Patton really is one of the most amazing artists breathing oxygen.
So sad that they split after being together for 15years since teenagers, I hope one day they get back together and explore completely different genres, again, If they havent covered everything already that is
Well it's been 10 years but your wish is somewhat coming true
you're right, but it's underwhelming i guess
@@monsieurlemon I wouldn't say it's underwhelming, the new album is great in my opinion but it's just different
What I love about this footage is that we get to see Bar playing the flute, as well as singing the backing vocal towards the end.
jesus christ that explosion at 1:37
5:09 - always my favorite part
Love the nod to DRI on Heifetz's sweater.
hard to talk shit about an absolutely amazing band.
Well, they are no Red Hot Chili Peppers! Thank fucking god!
Clinton "Bar" McKinnon - Lives in Melbourne Australia and just released an amazing album by his band 'Umlaut'
I was there!
oh, I just think spruance and dunn don't get enough play. and they're fucking superhuman.
To this day,I believe if they had put out Squeeze Me Macaroni as the 1st single and MTV video they would be Chili Pep size. Instead they made a twisted-ass video for Travolta the suits at MTV couldn't stomach (pedophilia references and whatnot). Yeah, yeah artistic integrity and all that shit. They made the video they wanted to make, blah, blah. Wished they had done that shit AFTER they had mucho momentum with a hit single or 3. Kristin Yee managed them at the time? I'd love to know WTF happened
their sound on live is incredible...diablos...moriría por que se reunieran y dieran un concierto
AlexielSama999 se hizo realidad este año y me acabo de enterar en plena cuarentena,!🥺🥺🥺
I was at this gig.
Great night!
This is incredible
i was at this gig!! fucking awsome
hey guys don't forget about trey and trevor. Equally amazing if you ask me B)
@frankiev1231
The lyrics are positively brill you know.
this song is like Stravinsky of 2000
Best live performance of None of Them Knew... for sure. That ending... Fuck.
Jesus christ, everyone...just send Mike Patton your money. He's fucking amazing.
Amazing song :D
Btw, what is falling down from the ceiling at :05 xD
This response has been 11 years in the making, but what fell was the expectations of every band on the planet that they were doing anything meaningful.
I wish I had seen these guys live when I had the chance.
It's 2020 and they still don't know.. Fark.. Thought they'd have figured this shit out by now. 😁
IMPRESIONANTE
Pure gold 🤩🤩
a-ma-zing
hahaha yeah same, now its just sleek all the time, need abit of movement now and again so we know its real hehe
And thnaks so much for loading this vid!! I love a man in uniform hahaha :P Why did Bungle actually break up?? Theyre so original! Its not fair to us kids born in the wrong era who wernt alive to appreciate the grace years they were around!!
Wasn't Mike's younger brother on the CA Highway Patrol?
Aw hell, enough of this double-decade morning quarterbacking shit: they are great. I just wished they had gotten the commercial rewards I think they deserve (and I'm sure the band REALLY wanted under all the pretense at that time).
Where are they now??
Mike - Amazing prolificacy. SF. Sold the place in Bologna, IT?
Trey - Bought some land out in Santa Cruz?
Trevor - NY? Trevor Dunn trio?
Theo - USAPs in the New Mexico desert?
Danny, Bahr??
Miss you guys - wishing you all the best...
They had a magic act on as support. They got boo'd off. Similar to the sex pistols having dance djs as their support. They got the same treatment too!
Darren Willetts That was their thing though, get the audience worked up (I think I remember Patton saying that those were the best shows, when the crowd and band had a bit of agro between them - but that may have been FNM). The shows I saw them at had Neil Hamburger doing standup . . . that's all the words required. I think he cleared his throat loudly into the microphone every five or six words on top of the terrible material. The crowd tried to boo him off but he acted as though he was completely oblivious. I skipped him on the second show, but consider how bad he must have been that I can clearly remember his name (no google required) and face over 16 years later. Good times. Good times . . .
thats flipping amazing tho. i find it weird to think gregg turkington (neil hamburger) was a part of all this in the 90s. evenhad his own punk band lol. i think he was the singer
When Neil Hamburger opened for FNM in SF he made the audience chant “Smash Mouth,” for 5 consecutive minutes before he’d allow FNM to come on stage. It was so wonderfully absurd.
The split because of egos. Mainly with Trey and Patton I think.
I wish I knew whey they split up, look at them kick so much ass right there.
4:35 POW POW POW!
Wow, speeeechlessssssss!!!!
filete , GRAN CANCION !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking kudos to their monitor mixer! Jesus h. Christ on a popsicle!
@gfiftyfive You can't really compare them.. Sure that Mike Patton has a by far better vocals than Gibby but the surfers are good in another way.
I was fortunate enough to see them on their last tour after this CD came out. Amazing. I couldn't appreciate it then, but I Remember it and it was awesome.
Only if they have an album to actually make. The members of Bungle are doing fine on their own, separate from each other.
some did know they were robots, what do the monsters know about themselves?
Fuck ! I never Saw them alive ...
wasn't even referring to the song.
Just him in general....
Wild performance.
Me too - what did you think of the magic show? :)
Me too bro they are awesome!
Tema oficial de Stonerlicor
For the body of the beast
PURE genius
this song is awesome
oh no doubt man
Amazing :D
exactly
So good!
Que que é isso...!!
Mike has a younger brother?
Older.
For some reason Patton reminds me of Johnny Depp playing Thompson in Fear and Loathing, especially since this whole album should've been included in the already amazing soundtrack. Very Gonzoesque
