    Now while I didn't have or use ketchup and hot sauce, the mixture that I had made the lamb turn out quite delicious. I did add a bit of rosemary. Thank you for this recipe.

    It is sad to see people bashing the cooking time without even trying it. Most of the world cook their meats well done, and if cooked right, they are as tender and juicy if not better.

      Punit Sharma safe? All meat except for chicken and pork can ben eaten raw if handled correctly and sanitary. Asians eat sushi, which is fish, raw. Also nowadays even pork can be eaten medium rare. Overcooking meat is an outdated idea, that was mandatory hundreds of years ago because cattle wouldn’t be taken care of the level it is being cared for today. Anyone who eats their steak well done does simply not know much about meat.

      @@bruciekibbutz4698 either that or they simply like the taste better than they like the taste of raw meat. People who eat meat medium are wanna get salmonella.

    • @bruciekibbutz4698

      Goku didnt u read my comment, if meat is handled correctly and sanitary, from healthy cattle, u wont get any salmonella. People who like their premium beef cut (I’m not talking about all of the cow, some pieces are not tender enough and should be overcooked or steamed till tender) well done simply do not know much about meat. Imagine eating a Wagyu 200$ piece of steak wel done, lmfao.

    Some recipes say to cook it at 425 F for 30 mins. What's the difference between cooking it at a higher temperature for a shorter period of time, and lower temperature for longer? which one is better?

    • @roberthan5109
      @roberthan5109 2 роки тому

      I think if you cook it on a low temperature it's more tender and don't lose as much moisture, but if you cook on a higher temperature you get more color on the meat and get more flavor from it. Wouldn't say there's a better or worse way, just whatever you like more

    When I came to Usa I noticed that people eat there meat medium or almost raw and I respect that they grow up with that taste
    Because the meat is different
    I was struggling to cook meat because in my country when I cook it well done even with the same méthode it stay tender and juicy
    So I tried to cook it in low heat for 1.5 adding more olive oil and some herbs that help to stay tender and it worked
    Try to understand the differences between cultures
    And may be if you try it that way you will like it more even my neighbors who was was born here they loved it

    That's lamb rack (loin attached), not lamb ribs (belly with ribs). It is an expensive cut and does not need to be cooked for long as it is not a 'low-n-slow' cut... hot and fast and medium at most. Real lamb ribs thought would be perfect for you recipe. Loads of Indian restaurants used real lamb ribs here in Australia, they are cheap an lend themselves to slow cooking.

      @carvedwood1953 2 роки тому

      @@positivevybes247 You are incorrectly using the term raw. You are right that people don't eat their meat raw. They eat it cooked with a fast hot heat that fully cooks it without drying it out or causing the meat fibers to toughen up.

    I just peeled off all the FAT. But in this vid, he left it on. It was thick and hard, so, I figure that it will not render down ... so I cut it off. I hope I didn't mess up. I'd leave it on if I was putting it on the grill (for protection from the heat), but since its wrapped .... And I'm guessing all that "liquid" in the pan is the rendered fat. I'm starting to think that I messed up by removing the thick lay of fat. It's what I do with beef, and CERTAINLY with venison. I dont' know how fat renders with lamb. We typically do LEG of lamb, of which I leave the fat on, and its not as thick or touch anyway. Oh well, I guess I'll know in about 4-5 hours.
