So this is just Operation Bunker Shot but we play as the Eruseans. Nice to see that we have an explanation as to why Cascadia briefly captured some territory on the Federation mainland.
Kind of Bonkers how the Cascadians were able to gather enough troops and ships to pretty much mobilize over 50.000 troops so fast... however, when we take in consideration that this happened after the Cold War mission in which the Federation rejected every single Cascadian national troops from their ranks, and also Cascadia hiring more and more Mercenaries forces as the war went on, it sort of makes sense how they could had push that far inside the Federation, it does also explains the lack of any Cascadian Naval forces in the later mission in the campaing, all their Navy power was focused here.
The entire Magadan defense force: -CAS Squadron consisted of 4 reservist that probably almost forgotten in the Federation record - fresh reservist ground troops and old folk from the Oceanic War armed with basic rifle, ancient machinegun and anti tank weapon that might still work, and hope against the half of Cascadian marines, navy and gazzilion mercenaries
What project wingman did right was how gun and gun sight works. Even than AC has years of developing experience on arcade aircombat games gun sight and gun overall is a huge letdown in AC7 but in project wingman guns are just so satisfying to use.
I also like PW aircraft's turn rate that is lower almost similar to your enemies. The last AC that have this is AC04, and since then we are always more maneuverable than our enemies. And AC6 worsen this by adding high G turn. Of course Ace Combat is still fun and I get the idea of an ace single handedly turn the tide of the war. But I want to do that with (almost) equal physics against our enemies. And PW delivers that
Hi ACF, I'd like to know what happens if you cross the red line, it's clear you can shoot down the Eminent Domain but I'd like to see it. Thank you for uploading so fast, PC players like me won't be able to play this DLC I guess...
@@panelaashigaryuukopersonal headcanon, but I feel after Mission 7, Woodward decided to update the automatic Air defense systems to prevent the Feds from launching Cruise Missiles Willy-nilly.
This mission is where Frontline 59 starts to ruin the main game's story. Until this point, the Cascadian Independence Force was a somewhat-organized moderately-sized military force with mercenary backup. Here, they somehow managed to prep and deploy a massive invasion force -in only 24 hours- with the Federation only having 24 hours' warning 0:22 made up of OVER THREE HUNDRED combat naval vessels with over FIFTY THOUSAND troops 2:16 like... excuse me? What happened to the Independence Force being on the backfoot the entire first stage of the war? Where was this naval force during the Presidia blockade and retreat? What happened to the tiny Coast Guard only managing a couple of resupply ships for the captured Eminent Domain? This isn't just typical gameplay/story dissonance, this is flying in the face of the main story and it just ends up really confusing. This continues for the rest of Frontline 59 and it's annoying because this could have been a really good addition if it wasn't for this and a couple other things we see later on.
It does actually make a bit more sense from the naval ship standpoint if you factor in how it's mentioned in the start that a lot of these vessels are non uniform. Based on this and several lines mentioning Cascadia's large fishing fleet, it's likely that most of these vessels are small merchant craft pressed into carrying troops. You can actually see something like this IRL with the Chinese maritime militia. Having something like that for the Cascadians is something I would argue makes sense.
Perhaps not the first time that there's inconsistency when it comes to resources and manpower.Such as ISAF somehow managing to muster up enough resources and manpower to retake their former territories and invade Erusea.Even though Erusea,at the start of the game, managed to take over most of USEA,with the remaining ISAF forces retreating to the Island nations such as North Point.Ustio has the excuse of hiring mercenaries and working together with Osea and Sapin in order to liberate their country and eventually, invade Belka.
@@ahmadhadi177 I like to imagine they linked up with pockets of ISAF troops left behind during the retreat and reintegrated them into the main forces. Erusea would definitely have a hard time controlling an entire continent and they weren't likely to 100% crush any resistance to occupation
"Kaisers crown" the way they talk about Monarch dudes a legend already

For what it seems General Faust is the main antagonist in this DLC.
Even the cascadians have some bloodthirsty officers in their lines.

This portrays a desperate struggle so much better than Sirens of Defeat in the main game

Project Wingman's version of ANZAC.
There's a reason why the Japanese have a bad feeling when they're trying to step on the Aussie land.
Pity. They sould concentrate the force for liberation of Presidia. Oh....
Eminent Domain rolled up? Ooh, _boy._
A couple of salvos and the entire defence line collapsed, my god.
Thank you that you upload the missions that fast, i cant play it so i have to watch it here so really ACF... thank you so much

so nobody's gonna talk about the Eminent Domain on comms?
edit: turns out it's more than just comms...
-We have long range contact! Federation Navy!

Other than the merchant and fishing ships pressed to combat, I guess they just go "screw the economy" and hire a shit ton of mercenaries
