Watching this after the DLC finally getting a PC port. Unvoiced briefing. Makes sense the small scope of what's basically an expansion pack, but it sure helps with the professionality and the hands-off approach of the Federation's higher echelons. Of course, beings reservists means a good excuse to only have good enough aircraft, but no superfighters. Quite a smart start, the sudden alert launch and being called amateurs by the local AWACs. Won't lie, almost losing those launch bearings felt right for the player, Driver. Ah, the Bering Strait. Seems this is during the main campaign's eleventh mission. 6:55: You weren't. I mean it's very on the nose, but I feel like this is the mission that Driver signed up for. His occupation outside of the Reserves, the speeding tickets, the speeding cameras and dialogue about fines and arrests... Driver's probably a pilot because of speed and adrenaline more than anything else. Redline blazing as you soar inches above the freeway in a confined space, going faster on a highway than Driver has ever gone. It's beautiful, I know the comparison has been made several times but this is to Driver what Cold War is to Monarch.

I finally got around to playing this game today and now I kinda understand why nobody wants go stand up against the feds they fight with a cold and efficient level of brutality they always sounded so disorganized in the OG game but in this game we see deep federation forces fighting the literal best the feds have to offer and its scary to be frank only the mercenary cabal of Oceania had the guts to try and fight them I mean you can hear it in their voices both the RTO and ground commander speak as if they don't care what crystal kingdom decides to do when considering Woodwards offer they simply relay it nothing more
