Were you just using those 4 builds at random for each boss? Throughout the video I was under the impression you were using a build that corresponded with what the boss was weak or least resistant to until you got to SOC. I was wondering why you were using Dark Sorcery despite SOC being more weak to lightening.
@@highlightermarca-texto3281 actually the staffs magic adjustment isn't reflected in the menu. Even if you max out all stats it scales with the number will remain the same. The actual adjustment is hidden from the player.

Good job, impressive as always. I think I see why you left this run for after the melee weapons, there’s so much to keep track of. The low health alone would’ve had me sweating, the only time I’ve ever gone no-hit on any boss was by accident, and this setup practically requires it.
Watching this reminded me of how satisfying it was to land Sacred Flame in PvP. Used Black Serpent to draw them in and then Sacred Flame when they go for the punish. Didn't always work and got me killed more than a few times, but when it did work it was like chugging a Serotonin Flask +10.
It's totally viable with Demon's Scar but most people just go with Black Flame because it true combos with the 2H light attacks as long as you have max casting speed. However, Sacred Flame does way more damage and if you are able to land Black Flame or Flame Fan during the duel first, you might be able to mix up their timing well enough to catch them coming out of a dodge roll and barbecue their asses with it. Like you said though, it's not fool proof. Experienced duelists won't get caught by that most times. But when it lands, it makes all the failed attempts worth it lol

I just did a complete solo play through, and it was my first time doing a pure strength build. I got every boss but Aldrich, Consumed King, Nameless King, Friede and Midir first try. I got Aldrich and Consumed King on my 2nd attempt. Midir on my 6th Friede on my 10th And nameless on my 25th... I suffered on that bastard lol
Yes and no. Pvp is tough because you can't set your build in advance and you have no idea who you're fighting or what their playstyle is. That doesn't make it lack luster though.

The fact is tho that sorcery kinda sucks if you arent level 9000 because while it can obliterate some bosses easily you will then go against a guy that has 75% immunity to the only type of damage you deal and you are fucked. Here he can swap between sorceries pyromancies, miracles and dark sorceries because he has max stats in everything anyway.
they always did more damage than weapons in previous games , ds3 toned them down a little to make them fair but you can see its still OP given the right build

People often don't know that the grub staff has the highest possible magic adjustment. I think it scale with luck

Yes and no. Pvp is tough because you can't set your build in advance and you have no idea who you're fighting or what their playstyle is. That doesn't make it lack luster though.

You can kill Yhorm fast with any weapon.
