I feel fortunate to have flown with both Steve and Dean! I remember Dean was a very cool guy! He could light up a room when he came in and somehow he always seem to know how to do the right thing...He will be misses!

What does it weigh?
Great video. Did you make any modifications or upgrades to the airframe in respect of width, door opening etc?
I don’t think the main door is modified from the original pa18 design.

What I don’t get is this guy builds a plethora of certified airplanes with dozens upon dozens of STC’s. Why not build an experimental version where you have zero STC’s at a fraction of the cost?
Not sure it would be a fraction of the cost but in order to use the plane commercially like he does you need to be certified.
He called that a runway hahaha.
It’s actually more of a runaway than most of the stuff we land on.
